How do you intend to oust?
Votes and bleed

How do you intend to survive?
Villein, bleed reduction, some vote defense.

What do you want your ready region to look like?
2 minions at first, probably one more once I draw grooming or the call.

What should your average turn look like?
Master card, bleed, and vote. Leave someone untapped maybe to react.

What's your meta like?
Varied, toolboxy, some aggressive bleed decks.

Hanibal has Enkil Cog written all over him. If yours don't, take a big black marker pen and add it

Epiphany does not work in that context: it requires the base version to go fetch the advanced one, not the other way around. Anyway, Wider View does the job almost as well as the specialized merge cards while being much more versatile and I am not even sure that you really need to merge the base version in that deck.

You might run out of blood. I would go for a much heavier blood gain package with Jake, Lilith, Coven, Hunting ground, double Perfectionist,... and probably replace the Grooming by more The Call.

PB: Madrid? Derange to deny non-sabbat titles and give merged Hannibal some juicy targets?

Epiphany only works with basic version, not with advanced.

Madrid is a good idea, it should be in there. I tried a version of the deck using a few Derange and focusing on merging Hannibal. That version was slower, more cumbersome. Maybe it could work with the right deck/environment.

Anyone can play Epiphany and untap at 2 stealth, so I'm not worried about that going to waste a lot of the time.

Gift of Experience can merge the advanced with a basic version, then I can burn 2 blood to untap Hannibal. Wider View wouldn't be bad, either.

Enkil Cog would be good for Hannibal if I had one.

Could double the perfectionists, don't think I want to go the HG/LB route because of cost and delay. Master count shouldn't go higher, although Jake would be a good play if I had him.
