Could Ex Nihilo + talbot chainsaw make a viable deck? was created by Timo
It's been a while since I first thought of this : how to play ex nihilo and talbot chainsaw in good synergie?
Here are my main ideas :
Guruhi are the land with Eze :
The idea is a GatL deck where Eze tool up with magic of the smith then play ex nihilo and equip the chainsaw. Then him and little guruhi equip with the chainsaw and whatever there is in play, play GatL, rush and repeat. Eze can still do some damage with some carrion crows.
Trem/!trem featuring Goratrix :
Magic of the smth on sargon fragment, then ex nihilo and magic on talbot chainsaw. You play some theft and weather control to deal some damage and goratrix can use his special. With ex nihilo/talbot/ruins of ceoris, you can deal with 1 weather control an equivalent 12 unpreventable damage with goratrix. And you can play ponticulus with the trem supports for an other plan to deal with the chainsaw 3 damages.

Note that the one with the chainsaw don't need to be the one with the Ex Nihilo. You could for example have an Appius Corvius w/ Ex Nihilo, who can use Descent into darkness to regain blood, while another vampire cut people into piece with the chainsaw.
(Descent into Darkness is one of the very few way to gain blood under Ex Nihilo, maybe the only one. And since 2nd tradition exist, Appius using Descent into darkness at +3 stealth can avoid you being intercepted by tiresome eurobrujah princes for a somewhat vital action)

It's really easier to just recruit ambrosius, tye cooper or ponticulus to absorb the chainsaw damage. I'd go with some of those and pack ex nihilo as a backup plan (as opposed the other way around), since that, if you are running giovanni chances are your guys will have necromancy.

I just tend to like chainsawing weenies into the Talbots and a Carver's Meat Packing so you can later ignore the Talbot's damage.
