Deck Name: !Brujah bruise bleed

Description: This is a bruise and bleed deck based around some of the new cards from DM. How should this deck defend itself? It seems like it will bloat ok, but what about stealth bleed or powerbleed?

I think the Infernal Pursuits should maybe be Psyche in order to take advantage of simi permanent + strength/WWS.

You don't need sticks with pot/cel. If you want fear factor with a low number of cards, go for dodges+disarming. And of course, in such setup you better rush to defend. Gold Pan Dan and Monster archetypes would even save you an action to bleed.

And you don't need 1 of each crypt. Although it is likely to have a few minions, you wouldn't want anything 8+ and would want at least 2 midcaps in your opening crypt. I'd remove 8+ vamps and Alessandro and +1 Gold Pan Dan, DeSalle, Garet and Tomaine.

I'm going to sound like such an idiot, but could someone explain how weighted walking sticks work?

I was watching some LackeyCCG games and people were using sticks for like 5 strikes without burning them.

When you play it, you put 5 counters on it.
The first time you strike with it, if it's unmodified, it loses 2 counters, right? I you somehow hit for 5 on the initial strike, it just burns?

I was using them in a Garou deck, but it didn't make much sense to use them for a strike or two.


*Also, the deck needs rush. I'd go with Fleetness over something like Enrage, because of the dual function. Since you can't really block anything, you stop powerbleed and vote by threatening your predator and eating their vampires first. Considering the Spoils of War, you're getting pool either way.

I get bad vibes for this deck. Too many cards that require some other condition than bleeding or fighting: Under Siege (only 5 titled vampires), Scalpel Tongue and Unexpected Coalition (you don't have political actions).

I have a feeling, that vampires will run out of blood and you still don't get enough pool to stay in the game.

Sorry, I don't have any suggestions to improve the deck.

Perhaps you could add some Inspire Greatness mods so you can "push" Espirit de Corps actions through. That would be funny. Also, I'd go with minimal blood cost for all minion cards.

You seem to have the right idea. A WWS should not last too long. At most three strikes. Works well if you don't want to add concealed weapon for a gun or something. Works well with celerity.

Brandon are you trying to avoid using torn signpost? I know WWS potentially could last longer than TS but I am always concerned about grapples. Why so many wakes with only three scalpel tongues and a coalition? One or two lost in translation might be good. Or remove some wakes and add more celerity combat/potence combat.


Weighted Walking Stick

Only usable before range is determined on the first round.
Put this card on this minion and put 5 counters on this card. While in play, this card represents a melee weapon (equipment) that does strength+1 damage each strike. For each point of damage inflicted by this strike (even if prevented), remove a counter from this card. Burn this card when it has no counters. A minion can have only one Weighted Walking Stick.

why not show of force? since this is bruise and bleed, get +1 str in the 1st round of combat is a great option. I woult take out all public trusts and divide among enchant kindred and show of force.
