Summon IC was created by Ankha
Deck Name : Summon IC
Author : Ankha
Description :
How do you intend to oust?
By bleeding for 3 at stealth with the 11-cap. There are some votes to deal damage too.

How do you intend to keep from being ousted?
Not spending to much pool, regaining pool with votes (Political Stranglehold, Ancient Influence) and Deflecting a little. Having votes also to protect myself from votes against me. Ezmeralda can also help regaining 11 pool.

What do you want your ready region to look like (ie, how many guys are you planning on getting out)?
Synesios with the Ankara, Ian Forestal with TEM (using Infernal Pact and Spontaneous Power), two fatties (IC or Great Beast)

What do you want your average turn to look like?
In the first turns, Synesions either get Ankara or Ian right away.
In the following turns, Synesions gains back some blood (using Abactor) and plays a SH to bring back an IC. Ian Forestal has access to all the cards in the deck, but won't be able to play SH at superior (not enought blood). NB: there could be some Renewed Vigor, but I want to try it with Abactor only.

What's your metagame like? How do your opponents play?
All kind of decks.

What problems have you observed with the deck in play?
No tested yet, but it's a mind-twisting deck that may take time to start.

How to play the deck
Bring out Synesios. Then, you have two options:
- fetch Ian Forestal if you have an Infernal Pact/Spontaneous Power in hand and you're in a hurry
- fetch the Ankara if you have time
Then, you'll have to regain back blood. Depending on the votes on the table, use Abactor or just hunt. The first vampire to Summon may be an IC if you need votes.
There are few combo:
- Hourglass of the Mind + SH allows you to get the Ankara even if you have it in hand. HotM + Scrounging allows you to shuffle your library
- Call the Great Beast + Hutzilopochtli. The Great Beast should have TEM DOM OBF (Mylan can untap Huitzilopochtli so the Great Beast arrives in 1 turn).
- Outside the Hourglass + Domain of Evernight (great as usual). OtH also provides combat defense, and DoE some stealth
- Scarlet Lore allows Ian to get the Great Beast or any useful minion card.
- Wash + Synesios' special allows you to Wash a master and get 2 MPA the next turn
- If Ian is there and already have Infernal Pact, you can use the Spontaneous Power to give OBF to Synesios, or myt

Notes about the crypt:
With the current ratio (12/26 Synesios), the probability to have Synesios in starting crypt is 93,3%
All other vampires are in 2 copies because SH only search the crypt. Having a vampire twice in the starting crypt is unlikely.

No master blood gain ? You need at least Giant's Blood and maybe a Perfectionnist or 2.

I think I would go for Two Wrongs rather than Wash: you need to survive more than to cancel other players' bloat cards.

Since almost everyone has :pre:, maybe you could also play a couple of Voter Captivation for refill.

I think a couple of Banishments could be useful.
I found the lack of Gwendolyn shocking. Apart from her, Stanislava should clearly be in there. Ur-Shulgi (Haqim's Law) or Sutekh can be used too.

-Into Thin Air is not as good as Lost in Crowds for this deck because empty vampires don't have the blood to benefit from the blood burning effect.
-Call the Great Beast would work best if you had a better way to put blood on your guys.
-Might want 2-3x Ankara Citadel to deal with it getting burned.
-Giant's Blood has to go in this deck, Perfectionist was a good idea for Synesios, too. You could double-up on coven and maybe include some life in the city.
-Maybe a couple change of target for empty hunting dudes.
-Staredown is a good card for guys with PRE and no/little blood.
-Learjet instead of scrounging?

Be careful when you fight the monsters, lest you become one.

I think 1 stealth isn't enough. Into Thin Air is an option to get 2 stealth. I like it here.

-Might want 2-3x Ankara Citadel to deal with it getting burned.

Just Summon it back.

Exactly. I worked well yesterday against Howler + Raven Spy and Donal's 2nd Trad.

Yeah.

I think a couple of Banishments could be useful.

Banishment would be useful, sure, maybe replacing Neonate Breach. Gwendolyn hasn't obfuscate, Stanislava has a built-in "no allies block" which could do the trick. Anyway, I'm not going to summon more than 3 IC during a game so it's not very useful to add more IC.

  1. Call the Great Beast would work best if you had a better way to put blood on your guys.

  2. -Might want 2-3x Ankara Citadel to deal with it getting burned.

  3. -Giant's Blood has to go in this deck, Perfectionist was a good idea for Synesios, too. You could double-up on coven and maybe include some life in the city.

  4. -Maybe a couple change of target for empty hunting dudes.

  5. -Staredown is a good card for guys with PRE and no/little blood.

  6. -Learjet instead of scrounging?

  1. The Great Beast is just there to bleed/rush. It can play SH also but it's not the main idea because it is a 9-cap (it can summon Ian though)
  2. Moot
  3. Why not. I'd like to keep the deck thin though.
  4. No, it would mean a turn lost. I prefer to add more stealth.
  5. Outside the Hourglass is there to protect.
  6. Not a bad idea, to test.
