The cards for Danse Macabre will be legal for play at this event.
When using Danse Macabre cards they must be color printed on standard paper and inserted
into opaque sleeves before another Vampire: The Eternal Struggle or Jyhad card.
This requires opaque sleeves for the whole crypt and/or library.
Cards printed on card stock will not be accepted as legal-for-play.

Hope to see many people in Ghent on August 17!

Cheers,
Dennis

"Cards printed on card stock will not be accepted as legal-for-play."

Does this mean that the promo printed cards won at the Dutch national qualifier are not legal?

That woudl be in line with what I told to Oortje in Utrecht right there:
Those cards are NOT legal for tournament play according to VEKN rules, which are cited above in the event announcement.

Re-stating the official rules prevents any on-site discussion: Usually, the assumption is that nobody woudl really bother - but if any player really would feel like calling the judge on this, the judge would end up in an awkward situation, as these cards in facta re not legal.

Which is why I also would recommend against bringing cards like the ones from NL over to the EC....

Shame, I found it a great initiative and technically isn't much different printing them yourself... Just much better quality. Ah well :P

Indeed, the cards from Utrecht would not be legal for play.
They are still funky though :)
