JOL ONLINE TOURNAMENT! SchreckNET (JOL)

We are organising a constructed sanctioned tournament in JOL!

The nature of JOL allows to play the 3 rounds (multi-deck) concurrently!

Then the final will need to be played with one deck played during the tournament.
JoL is an asynchronous tool that allows us to play our favourite game without having to commit to 2 hours! You just made your moves when you can every day!

Final ends: 31st May 2025 00.00 London, UK time

Multideck online (jol) standard constructed 3 rounds + final.

Tournament will be using jol (deckserver.net/jol/main.jsp)

The three rounds will be played concurrently. Rounds 1,2 and 3 will have a time limit* of three months and a half. Finals will have a time limit of 3 months.

Note that finals could start earlier if agreed by all finalists.

There will be multi-judge.

Special rules on JOL games during this tournament:

• if a Methuselah hasn't put anything in global notes about being away, then 24 hours without responding is considered a non-response and the game can continue. They will then have another - 24 hours additional time where they need to respond.
• However, if 72 hours pass after that first time they need to respond and we haven't heard anything from them, we consider them to have left the game. Play can continue without having to wait each time for them to respond.
• The player can come back to the game, the 24h will still apply, but this time after 48 hours without responding, hen the game will continue like the player left.
• For any question or query about applying this, players can call a judge who is not playing at the table to make a decision.
• Ensure you are clear on declarations of actions, blocks and/or terms of political actions

Apologies for the confusion. I play weekly in person with a group in Madison WI. I've never used JOL before. Will you send me a link to the website? When I search for JOL, I don't get anything related to VTES.
