Everyone will play 3 games.

1 Hour 45 min time per game.

You aren't locked into one deck the entire tournament. If you want, you can play an entirely new deck from game to game. So for people who want to give decks some table time and work out the kinks, this works.

It must be an entirely NEW deck. It isn't acceptable to sub in a few cards because you've seen what decks are being played.

I have faith that everyone wants to have a good time and wouldn't try to pull something like that.

If you have friends that know how to play, but don't have cards anymore or a functional deck, we have decks on standby that people can use.

We cater to the VTES tourists.

Prize support depends on attendance. More people = more goodies.

We have "Heirs to the Blood", starter decks.

I am unaware of said fiasco. I assume it was a last minute thing so people couldn't plan to travel?

Future Toronto Events will always have plenty of advance notice unless it's local people putting something up to play on the weekends.
