Vampire a played flesh of marble at
and get 2 normal (environmental) damage and 1 aggravated damage (from hand strike) during first round of combat. Can he take one normal and prevent the rest?
Only usable before range is determined.
This combat, if this vampire suffers a damage (that he or she does not prevent) in a given round, any additional damage inflicted on this vampire in the same round is automatically prevented. Aggravated damage cannot be prevented this way.
As above, but aggravated damage is prevented this way as well.

Only usable before range is determined.

That's not technically correct.
If both regular damage and aggravated damage are successfully inflicted on a vampire at the same time, the regular damage is handled first. This only applies to unprevented damage;
Inflict ... prevent ... suffer
Is the order. Flesh of marble is like it's own thing

But the order only applies to unprevented damage. During damage prevention step player can choose what damage they prevent, yes?

Point is flesh of marble doesnt work properly with the damage step. It reads that u run through damage resolution in bulk not 1 point at a time. Maybe you dont and the rules are just confusing.

Yes, and? Damage is prevented in damage prevention step. Flesh of marble prevents damage. You choose what damage you prevent and what 1 damage you decide to take, yes/no? Not sure what is confusing about this.
In what way does it not work properly? All it says is that you need to take one damage in order for the rest to be prevented.
