Anmything that doesnt flash. Most forums use a 'lightup' version that is simply a lighter version of the post count or something.

On a related note, the link in the 'new reply' email that leads me to this thread requires me to login again once here, which sends me to a login page that doesnt log me in. I have to go to the forum index to get what looks like the same login page to actually log in.

Yeah, mostly just trying this out. But I'm also unconvinced that the flashing green "new" tag is a good idea.
