Except as noted in these instructions, the tournament will follow the Standard V:EKN Tournament Rules.
BANNED CARDS
All cards banned in Standard Constructed Tournaments are banned, except for cards that are usable only when playing for ante, which are legal.
ANTE
Each player should bring candy easter eggs for ante. Each player starts with one candy egg as an ante.
Instead of affecting cards, the cards that are usable only when playing for ante affect the amount and order of the candy eggs used as ante.
Whenever a player is ousted the player who gains the victory point must immediately eat all the candy eggs the ousted player had as an ante. Game doesn't resume, until all the candy eggs have been eaten.
If a table times out, all the remaining players must eat their current ante.
TIE-BREAKERS
The amount of easter eggs eaten during preliminary rounds is used as a tie-breaker after Victory Points and before Tournament Points are used.

In Finland this is the most popular candy easter egg used as an ante in Easter Egg Hunt tournaments:

And by candy eggs, you mean vodka shots?

I think that would be the Russian variant, not the easter egg hunt
But I guess the same principles could be used for any types of more or less silly, delicious and hazardous antes

Oh man, that is gold. I've got an idea formed for next Australia Day (which is unfortunately 10 months away...) or I'll pick another suitable day. But that's a great idea anyway Jussi!

We've had this traditional Easter Egg Hunt tournament annually for probably 5 times in Turku. Too bad I haven't been able to attend, except for once.
