Mary Anne Blaire's art

So I've been wondering for just about forever:

What is going on in Mary Anne Blaire's artwork?



What seems to me is that the red outline (added) covers what should be her head + hair. Then, she has another upper lobe starting from there. You can even see the line of her ANOTHER hair in there; the division is different, and you even see a bit of her 'second' forehead.

Three suggestions:

a) She learnt Auspex and Animalism from Tzimisce, and narrowly escaped the Vicisitude part. Her head is the only malformed part (which we can see at least).

b) She's standing in front of a painting of herself. All we can see is the top of the painting.

c) Someone just really messed up the final parts of editing for this art piece.

Soo.... What is going on here?

Or, it’s just her hairstyle.
A lot of people weave and layer their hair to appear taller, or even just to gain volume.
It was all the rage in the 60s and 70s.

I'd say that her hair would look more normal (layered hairstyle) at its current height, if there wasn't that crevasse in the middle. May be simply bit of a mistake from the artist. These things happen.

Or she could be wearing one of these hats

I would've wanted to believe that as well, but what about that slight piece of skin showing at the "top head" side parting, just at the hairline?

If you take the smaller head out of the picture, you wouldn't believe it's just a wee wig or an extension.



Also, why? Come on, there needs to be SOMETHING to fight about before Orava is done with Ropecon's report.
