Gang,
I'm starting up a few JOL games with some new rules. I'd encourage (though not require) you to make decks with some of these cards, to see what will happen with the changes.

Please reply in this thread with your JOL nick if you wish to participate in this experiment.

When we have enough players, I'll begin the games starting the second week in June.

RULES
Section [5] in the rulebook says "A Methuselah may not have more than two Master Phase Actions."

COSTS
Deflection costs 1 pool.
Govern costs 2 blood.
Conditioning costs 2 blood.

TEXT
----
Master:Discipline cards read "Master:Discipline. Trifle."

Trophies EXCEPT FOR Trophy:Progeny all read "Master:Trifle."

Archetypes EXCEPT FOR Perfectionist all read "Master:Trifle."

Ashur Tablets reads "...choose up to three cards..."

Pentex Subversion(TM) reads "Each Methuselah may play only one Pentex Subversion(TM) in a game."

Parity Shift reads "Each Methuselah may play or call only one Parity Shift in a game."

BANNED
Direct Intervention is banned.

It's cool that you are using JOL to try out different rules paradigms.

What I'd like to see is some sort of report from the games you play under these rules. I'd be very much interested in finding out how it went and how the changes really influenced the game as a whole, the strategies etc.

In other news - yes, I really like your rules :)

I hate your rules, but I will help you test.

I appreciate the intent, but I think there are too many variables. It will be hard to evaluate the causes and effects in the final analysis.
