I appeal my ban was created by mirddes
two people on the internet call each other self righteous assholes, par for the course.
only i got banned, and a year later i'm still banned with absolutely no appeal process, no oversight, no logic, no reason.
live long and prosper, and may the force be with you always.
i scroll past vtes posts on facebook every single day and everyone is super chill and no one has ever flamed me for thinking the grouping rule is terrible.
but i got flamed and dogpilled by multiple people and when i asked the moderators to MODERATE nothing was done, i was persecuted for having an unpopular opinion and then defamed with political and ideological accusations with zero pushback from admins who then doubled down on their accusations on my previous appeal post.
i have waited patiently, ive been a fan of vtes since 2008 but the complete lack of professionalism and impartiality has lead me to become convinced that there is a seriously problem with leadership in our community.
i just want to play vtes in voice chat a few times a week, but i can't play without at least half the table being in voice chat because im going to get VERY distracted unless i have a conversation with the rest of the table.
every single human who has ever existed is flawed, we're all a bunch of cunts, but be a cunt to me and permaban me because i don't wish to change my mind on the opinions i have formed about the grouping rule, it's just fucking weird. its absurd, it's abusive.
people need to chill the fuck out and not accuse people of being the worst possible type of person they can imagine because someone disagreed with them on the internet and would not yield to their infinitely superior wisdom and insight; we can both be wrong, we can both have irrelevant opinions.
i just wanted to have a broad reaching discussion about possible innovations, setting up casual tables without the grouping rule instead at least a dozen times i was told how fucking stupid i am and that i should just not play, i've been patiently waiting for some sort of resolution but my expectation at this point is that this post, like the previous one, will yield no positive outcome for me, and be the source memes for the abusers who seek to exclude an autist like myself in the name of supposed inclusivity
when the person in question was being incredibly hostile; i don't care about getting called an asshole online; and when i immediately responded "my ears don't like" its not a transphobic dogwhistle suggesting they don't pass in voice chat; its an explicit declaration that they don't pass for not being an asshole in voice chat; an opinion i had formed BEFORE they said they were trans.
MULTIPLE TIMES i deflected during those threads with the refrain "must minds be changed?" because i want to have casual conversations about a fucking card game, not world war fucking 3. i just want to play the fucking card game, i don't fucking care about identity inclusivity and all that noise and drama; i am more than happy to be friends with anyone who shares my passions in life; from any walk of life' AND SAYING SO IS AN EVEN MORE EGREGIOUS TRANSGRESSION!?!?!?!
fml just can't fucking win; can't declare my humanist heart without being accused of being transphobic; ITS FUCKING RETARDED (and im legally retarded so fuck off if you think you can police peoples' language) i fucking hate how corrupt your leadership is; there would have been a proper review by now, conducted by people who were in no way involved in the initial decision making process, with full transparency.
if i was the asshole you think i am i'd have field legal action; but instead im just as oppressed as anyone one else in this capitalist technocratic neo-feudalistic hellscape. get the fuck off your high horses and chill the fuck out;
GGWP im out until this gets resolved; unfollowing everything on facebook;;; WAY TO MAKE VULNERABLE PEOPLE FEEL FUCKING FANTASTIC YOU FUCKING CUNTS.
you were never going to unban me, so here's my casual use of normal english to express my fucking extreme dissatisfaction with the lack of meaningful code of conduct reform, lack of oversight, lack of professionalism, lack of due diligence, lack of moderation, lack of compassion, etc; basically just a bunch of cunts doing whatever the fuck you want and fuck everyone else who doesn't agree.
its funny the rightwing run around acting like fascists IRL whilst the left run around online acting like fascists with their keyboards. its fucking appalling, and you should all be ashamed of letting some guy with autism get bullied because he didn't like the grouping rule, and isn't afraid to call people cunts when they're being cunts;
like who the fuck thinks they can call me self-righteous asshole, and then be a self-righteous asshole when then sentiment is immediately echoed????
i don't have an axe to grind but the axe wounds you've given me will never heal, and still i would gladly play tables with every single person involved; but the utter contempt i feel directed towards me is suffocating and entirely inhospitable; ABSOLUTELY NO FUCKING EXCUSE.
i hope you all face the true death this coming morning, your blood is weaker than caitiff.
and if you object to the swearing all i can say is grow the actual fuck up; or alternatively try drinking a fresh cup of quick dry cement and harden the fuck up; because there was absolutely NOTHING I DID or SAID THAT VIOLATED ANY OF THE POSTED RULES ON THE DISCORD. but yeah, here's to the predictable permaban when corrupt fuckwits double down now that i've given them an excuse.
so what's going to be? your honor is on the line, do you have any?
apparently i don't have any, so i am, not giving a fuck
I still love VTES and my heart goes out to the entire community, have a good one.

Replied by self biased on topic I appeal my ban
Hello.
As a reminder, you were banned for a body of work that included the following:
A generally hostile and intolerant attitude when discussing your ideas and someone didn't agree with you,
Name calling,
Repeated disruption of other people's topics,
Repeatedly arguing with moderators when given warnings about unacceptable behavior,
Repeatedly refusing to comply with moderator requests,
Repeatedly tagging Black Chantry members in attempts to appeal said warnings,
Numerous complaints from other users about your behavior, including several bigoted, transphobic statements that you reportedly made while in the voice chat.
The hostile screed that you have presented above, demanding to be let back on to the Discord server tells me that you have not done any reflection as to why you were banned.
Your ban will remain in place.
Please do not make any more threads on this topic.
Additionally, if a Forum Moderator could lock this thread, that would be wonderful.
Thank you,
Chris M. - V:TES Discord Server Admin.

bruz you're accusing me of doing everything that happened to me, and i never said anything transphobic; not in voice chat nor written form. i don't give a fuck without condoning or condeming i just am completely indifferent and apathetic to their cause or anyone elses; my humanist heart loves all of our fellow humans, including the shitbags like you who constantly make slanderous and defamatory, libelous statements.
you have zero supporting evidence and an independent and transparent investigation will make this simple truth clear.

i am autistic, i will not bend to your will. my mind was never going to be changed no matter how many people commented in the grouping rule threat that im cooked, and stupid, and shouldn't play the game.
the admins in the admin only thread about my thread, were incredibly irate, threatening me, etc; no idea what i did, but ive been reflecting on this nonstop, but i cant seem to figure out why you're all being cunts.

adopt the apache code of conduct and announce your retirement from your current duties is the only path forward that leaves your honour intact
Code of Conduct
ASF Oak Leaf Icon
Introduction
This code of conduct applies to all spaces the Apache Software Foundation manages, including IRC, public and private mailing lists, issue trackers, wikis, blogs, Twitter, and any other communication channels our communities use. A code of conduct which is specific to in-person events (ie., conferences) is in the ASF anti-harassment policy.
We expect everyone who participates in the Apache community formally or informally, or claims any affiliation with the Foundation, in any Foundation-related activities and especially when representing the ASF in any role to honor this code of conduct.
This code is not exhaustive or complete. It distills our common understanding of a collaborative, shared environment and goals. We expect all members of the Apache community to follow it in spirit as much as in the letter, so that it can enrich all of us and the technical communities in which we participate.
Specific Guidelines
We strive to:
Be open. We invite anyone to participate in our community. We prefer to use public methods of communication for project-related messages, unless discussing something sensitive. This applies to messages for help or project-related support, too; not only is a public support request much more likely to result in an answer to a question, it also makes sure that the community notices and corrects any inadvertent mistakes people answering the query may make.
Be empathetic, welcoming, friendly, and patient. We work together to resolve conflicts, assume good intentions, and do our best to act in an empathetic fashion. We may all experience some frustration from time to time, but we do not allow frustration to result in a personal attack. A community where people feel uncomfortable or threatened is not a productive one. We should be respectful when dealing with other community members as well as with people outside our community.
Be collaborative. Other people will use our work, and we in turn depend on the work of others. When we make something for the benefit of the project, we are willing to explain to others how it works, so they can build on the work to make it even better. Any decision we make will affect users and colleagues, and we take those consequences seriously when making decisions.
Be inquisitive. Nobody knows everything! Asking questions early avoids many problems later, so we encourage questions, although we may redirect them to the appropriate forum. Those who receive a question should be responsive and helpful, within the context of our shared goal of improving Apache project code.
Be careful in the words that we choose. Whether we are participating as professionals or volunteers, we value professionalism in all interactions, and take responsibility for our own speech. Be kind to others. Do not insult or put down other participants. Harassment and other exclusionary behaviour are not acceptable. This includes, but is not limited to:
Violent threats or language directed against another person.
Sexist, racist, or otherwise discriminatory jokes and language.
Posting sexually explicit or violent material.
Posting (or threatening to post) other people's personally identifying information ("doxing").
Sharing private content, such as emails sent privately or non-publicly, or from unlogged forums such as IRC channel history.
Personal insults, especially those using racist or sexist terms.
Unwelcome sexual attention.
Excessive or unnecessary profanity.
Repeated harassment of others. In general, if someone asks you to stop, then stop.
Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behaviour.
Be concise. Keep in mind that, over time, hundreds or thousands of people will read what you write. Writing a short email means people can understand the conversation as efficiently as possible. Short emails should always strive to be empathetic, welcoming, friendly and patient. When a long explanation is necessary, consider adding a summary at the top of the message.
Try to bring new ideas to a conversation so that each email adds something unique to the thread, keeping in mind that the rest of the thread still contains the other messages with arguments that have already been made.
Try to stay on topic, especially in discussions that are already fairly long.
Step down considerately. Members of every project come and go. When somebody leaves or disengages from the project they should tell people they are leaving and take the proper steps to ensure that others can pick up where they left off. In doing so, they should remain respectful of those who continue to participate in the project and should not misrepresent the project's goals or achievements. Likewise, community members should respect any individual's choice to leave the project.
Diversity Statement
Apache welcomes and encourages participation by everyone. We are committed to being a community that everyone feels good about joining. Although we may not be able to satisfy everyone, we will always work to treat everyone well.
No matter how you identify yourself or how others perceive you, we welcome you. Though no list can hope to be comprehensive, we explicitly honour diversity in age, culture, ethnicity, genotype, gender identity or expression, language, national origin, neurotype, phenotype, political beliefs, profession, race, religion, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, subculture and technical ability.
Though we welcome people fluent in all languages, Apache software development takes place in English.
The Code of Conduct, above, details our standards for behaviour in the Apache community. We expect participants in our community to meet these standards in all their interactions and to help others to do so.
Reporting Guidelines
While all participants should adhere to this code of conduct, we recognize that sometimes people may have a bad day, or be unaware of some of the code's guidelines. When that happens, you may reply to them and point out this code of conduct. Such messages may be in public or in private, whatever is most appropriate. However, regardless of whether the message is public or not, it should still adhere to the relevant parts of this code of conduct; in particular, it should not be abusive or disrespectful.
Assume good faith; it is more likely that participants are unaware of their bad behaviour than that they intentionally try to degrade the quality of the discussion. Should there be difficulties in dealing with the situation, you may report your compliance issues in confidence to:
President of The Apache Software Foundation: Ruth Suehle (president AT apache DOT org)
Executive Vice President of The Apache Software Foundation: Jeff Jirsa (jjirsa AT apache DOT org)
[Vice President, Diversity and Inclusion: Daniel Gruno (humbedooh AT apache DOT org)
If the violation is in documentation or code, for example, inappropriate pronoun usage or word choice within official documentation, report these privately to the project in question at , and, if you have sufficient ability within the project, resolve or remove the concerning material, being mindful of the perspective of the person originally reporting the issue.
Notes
This Code defines empathy as "a vicarious participation in the emotions, ideas, or opinions of others; the ability to imagine oneself in the condition or predicament of another." Empathetic is the adjectival form of empathy.
