Fall of London Storyline questions

A couple of questions regarding the FoL storyline.

1. In the pdf I downloaded, under Game Rules, the following is stated:
"Regardless of who currently controls each artefact equipment, any minion controlled by any Methuselah may perform an action to equip with an artefact equipment."
However on the artefact cards themselves (downloaded pdf) it says "Any vampire can equip with this card as a ..."
So which is it? Vampire or minion? I lean towards vampire, as I think generally card text overrides rules, but then why both with the rules stating minion.

2. What happens to an artefact that is equipped but is burned from play by any of the many means that can be used to destroy equipment, or even if just the minion equipped with it is burned from play.
The golden rule of card ownership says that it would go back to its owner's ash heap. As they start unowned, does that mean they go back to the centre of the table to be equipped again?

3. The printed copy of Ritual Goblet has a 1 pool cost. The rules allow for an equip action of this card from the centre of the table, or from the minion currently equipped with it. If you are taking it from the centre, does it still cost 1 pool (and have its other text)? (assuming yes at this point). If you are stealing it from another minion, does it also cost 1 pool and is it still considered an equip action? Could be important for any effects on equipping (eg Carmen).

4. Once Mithras is in play, if he is burned from play, does he go to the current controlling player's ash heap?

5. Normally in clan-based storyline events, Recalled to the Founder is banned, however it is not listed in the banned cards for this one. Is that on purpose?

Hey, sorry for the delay. We'll have answers to these questions for you today.

1. Go with "any vampire" as per the card text instead of "any minion" from the rules sheet.

2. The burned equipment should be returned to the middle of the table.

3. To equip from the center the cost still applies. To steal from another minion the cost does not apply.

4. If burned, send Mithras to the controller’s ash heap. Additionally, the equipment set can only be used to summon Mithras once per game.

5. Recalled to the Founder is banned, as per the normal clan-based Storyline events.

Since a friend and I are planning to play a two-player-FoL-storyline-event: Is there a minimum number of players required for the results to be counted?
