Careful. Tapped cards can be used for lots of things.

This commonly turns up with lots of vampire special abilities that can be used even if the vampire is tapped or in torpor. (Obviously, card text can specify "untapped" or "ready" or whatever - but lots don't.) You don't want to fall into the trap of thinking a tapped, torporized Alexandra can't use her special to untap someone.
