Do I need to join a qualifier game first? I would like to go but not sure yet if I can go. Just moved to Taipei, Taiwan. Also I found out Singapore Airline doesn't run through here(damn Taiwanese government!).

No need. The Asian Continental Championship has been changed to an Open format event, so all are welcome.

Singapore Airlines does fly through Tao Yuan Airport (SQ877 and SQ879)
