I am sorry, but i think those precons are made to be played against other precons. Especially that one is bad. You need to build from scratch. Smaller vamps, more rushes and a streamlined combat package. It also depends on what decks you are to challenge, of course. Is it much Strike: Combat Ends in your playing enviroment?

Yes, especially from the Tremere player.
Allright, I'll have a look at some of the cards I have and see what comes up.
Will be a challenge for me to get this deck 'small', because back then I'd use a LOT of cards.
If going for 90 cards, we're looking at 20 masters right?
...
I'll open up a thread about this in the deck clinic.
Still have more questions, hold tight!

I would aim to keep the masters at around 15, not counting trifles.

trifles...?
We do play (or rather, did) with more pool though. 40 IIRC... so games tended to go on longer.
15 still enough?

Trifles are masters that, if played first in your master phase, can give an additional master action once a turn.
Here is a link to Atom Weaver's Deck Building Mash-up Challenge
There are at least three Brujah mash-ups of starters for Kot or 3rd edition or both.

look at the 2010, 2011 mash-ups at the bottom.

It isn't about the length of the game but the card ratios in your deck. You don't want to end up in a situation where you have 5 masters in hand. 15 in a 90 card deck is fairly decent number for a fighty deck that tends to move through cards fast, would not go above that, might even go with couple less sometimes.
Trifle is a mechanic that was introduced in the Anarchs set (although the first trifle master was The Coven from Sabbat War, but it wan't made into a keyword until Anarchs), which is basically a master that gives you a new master phase action when you play it (though only once per turn).
