I was playing some VTES last weekend with a low-midcap Tzim wall that featured Vampiric Disease and Society of Leopold and observed that once Society hit the table, other players got busy throwing it around instead of bothering me. It helped that I was packing a ton of intercept and efficient combat, so they were unlikely to move it back to me. This got me thinking about the distracting quality of the card. Rather than rushing, voting, hunting, or bleeding, I mainly just had to be ready to block it moving back to me. Other than imbued ("the immune"), what decks can use this card well (offensively or defensively)?

Decks that can steal blood from vampires, i.e. using Cryptic Mission or a number of allies (Imundulu, Gregory Winters, Young Bloods).

it hurts bigcap decks more than weenie decks, since they have fewer actions to afford trying to move it on their turn. unless it's like Una.
have cards to steal/burn hunting grounds to make sure the Society stays a threat.
use Kingston Penitentiary so other players can pay you pool to save their empty vampires? it's so crazy it might work. reduces some potential table-hate since they think you're "helping" them.

I find it very useful in my Khazar's Diary + blood denial deck.

I burned one of my predator's gigantic, scary vampires (Marcus Vitel?) with this card during the final, which helped me win the tournament.
