Thanks for the ideas, always up for a challenge but this one seems too big for me - ) Ponticulus looks like best option but synergy is not too well - )
Too bad, I really like Rico but he seems pretty unplayable for now. Maybe an idea for a card in a new expansion set;

master, unique
pool cost 1
the minion with this card can prevent 1 damage outside combat per turn.

I also wrote up a version five years later, though it has Lilith's Blessing in it, so I won't bother with a decklist.

I would have a second Heidelberg. There's many, many other ways to interact with his text, of course, though they don't interest me that much.

If you can't get your first Bomb out because you never drew one to play or discard, don't bring out Rico. If you can get your first Bomb out, he should rarely be taking any damage.

I suppose I should have noted that this deck has no ousting ability. In theory, could just add x5 Deflection and x5 Conditioning. In practice, might want to remove some of the unnecessary moving parts.
