Claiming the body

Blood brothers cards are always a pain to get your head around because they are very wordy and don't all work the same, some played by the acting minion (slake the thirst) others played by another minion (octopod). But claiming the body confuses me for another reason, it's so wildly different to change of target while being constantly compared to it.

"Claiming the Body
Requires a ready unlocked Blood Brother of the same circle as another one who has just been blocked, before block resolution.

g Lock the blocking minion and end the action.

G As above, and unlock the acting Blood Brother."


When this card is put on to print on demand I suggest a slight rewording as I feel the intention is that the blocking minion locks when blocking, however this card seemingly gets around cards that say "this minion does not lock for the block" like Atonement or Read The Winds.

the "before block resolution" means that the blocking minion will not be locked, same of change of target, but this card says that blocking minion will go locked

the card has been slightly improved thanks to the rewording that resulted from introducing the "before block resolution" timing window... don't think there is a need to nerf it back to what it used to be as it is just marginally better
