So we could make a Draft Box with all the old Promos in the Rare slots for example ?
If we have some ideas for another Draft Box, who can we send the complete "job" done ?
You Vincent ?

The rarity is not a matter of number of copies, but which slot it uses in a booster.

True, but folks without a complete knowledge of the 2x vs 4x commons might pass on a 2x common to take something in a more rare slot, mistakenly thinking the 2x common will be available more often. The rarity is not a matter of number of copies, but which slot it uses in a booster.

Why "raredraft" (pick up the more infrequent cards instead of more playable cards)? Especially nowadays when actual boosters are just a thing of the past.
If we want to keep on holding to artificial rarity even in Draft Box we could always start adding a small rarity marker somewhere to denote how frequently the card appears in THIS Draft Cube.
If you ask ME I would say it would be better to use a tiny R, U and C instead of a dot of Gold, Silver or Bronze that some games use as the difference between Gold and Bronze tends to be VERY superficial in small dots. Especially in less than optimal (bright AF) lighting...
You COULD use such a small dot inside a which there was the letter, thus incorporating both.
Also, nothing is preventing you from using widely different colors, such as red, yellow and green which everybody is familiar from traffic lights (as easy to remember rule of thumb as the colors of medals).

It's not rare-drafting, but comparative value. If the expectation is that I will see more copies of common over the course of the draft, there's some potential advantage to taking an uncommon, which you're less likely to see again. Having cards that are uncommons, but appear as commons, trick players into misunderstanding the relative value of the card in terms of potential future appearance.

The cake is a lie.
When I build draft cubes I don't give a darn about rarities.
