file Thematic Madness: Zombie Banks

Deck Name : Zombie Banks
Author : Azel
Description :
A backhanded comment on the high flying times of economic bubbles. Not a terribly competitive deck, more thematic. But with some tighter editing it might be. Oh, and it requires a tongue in cheek sense of humor.

If the theme is entertainingly solid, I might "devolve" this into alternate versions representing specific economic bubbles, i.e. Tech Bubble (Hacks, more Laptops, etc.), or Housing Bubble (Haunts, Disputed Territory, etc.).

How do you intend to oust?

Pretty much bleeding opportunistically. This is more mid-late game, with a bit of attrition survival (extra blood). Also, Trochomancy is an obvious include for a more competitive deck. But I have a hard time justifying what divination through wheel tracks relates to this theme.

How do you intend to keep from being ousted?

Bounce, reduce, blocks, bloat. Low copies of each, but I wanted most of the thematic cards to fit in. Obvious duplication will occur on re-editing for a more competitive deck.

What do you want your ready region to look like (ie, how many guys are you planning on getting out)?

Around 2 HoS out, ideally one with a title, and 1 or 2 extra weenies for support.

What do you want your average turn to look like?

Minor build-up, and at least a bleed/vote to look busy. Usually better to sit around looking harmless. The highlife is to have a Capitalist ram through a Forgery, followed by another Capitalist ram down another one with Leverage. But I haven't tightened up the deck for narrowed focus yet. Still too much silliness to discard while playing, so I can tell a story.

What's your metagame like? How do your opponents play?

It's SF Bay Area VtES; I don't think we have a metagame. If we do, it's probably like trying to understand the workings of Nyarlathotep: the revelation will lead to madness.

What problems have you observed with the deck in play?

Haven't played it yet. I have very low expectations for its initial run. But I love so many of my obviously bad cards because how it relates to this theme. I can be a big kid though and edit my labor of love into something more *sigh* competitive :( . The better suggestions would help retain or develop my theme, of course.

Have fun! :P
