Potent Princes v2 was created by CryWolf
1) How do you intend to oust?
Eat prey's/pred's vamps, then votes for the oust

2) How do you intend to keep from being ousted?
Eat prey's/pred's vamps

3) What do you want your ready region to look like (ie, how many guys are you planning on getting out)?
About 4 princes, or 3 with Theo

4) What do you want your average turn to look like?
Call vote, Freak, Rush, Freak, Diablerie (per vamp)

5) What's your metagame like? How do your opponents play?
These days I only play on JOL.

6) What problems have you observed with the deck in play?
I've only played this once. In that game, I lucked out with my Ian Forestal-Tupdog prey. I was able to Archon/Rush/Diablerize Ian within the turn he came out. My prey poolsacked from then on. I then had trouble fending off a :POT::cel::pre: predator who hit me with Lids consistently every combat.

Deck name: Potent Princes v2
Inspired by David Cherryholmes's Potent Princes
(bluedevilvtes.tripod.com/Potent_Princes.html)

Crypt: (12)
2x Nikolaus Vermeulen
2x Sheldon, Lord of the Clog
1x Agrippina
1x Calebros, The Martyr
1x Murat
1x Rake
1x Selma the Repugnant
1x Suhailah
1x Theo Bell
1x Volker, The Puppet Prince

Library: (81)
//The library size was just right for card flow. I'm very hesistant to bump it up to 90. Any combat deck I've made at that number had card flow problems.

Master: (14)
5x Vessel
2x Fortitude
1x Dreams of the Sphinx
1x Information Highway
1x Leadership Vacuum
1x Storm Sewers
1x Tension in the Ranks
1x The Labyrinth
1x Vast Wealth

Action: (7)
4x Fourth Tradition: The Accounting
3x Fifth Tradition: Hospitality
//The 5th trads feel iffy. Might be better as Entrenchings or Restorations.

Action Modifier: (11)
7x Freak Drive
3x Lost in Crowds
1x Hidden Lurker
//The Freaks are a wonder. 7 was enough to make Nikolaus an Archon, let him rush/torpor then call a 4th trad all in the same turn.

Combat: (28)
6x Immortal Grapple
6x Slam
4x Disarm
4x Superior Mettle
3x Armor of Vitality
3x Fake Out
2x Soak
//This section feels too expensive. All the 1-blood cost adds up, so many of the vamps were empty by the endgame. It also didn't help that my pred almost always had a Flash and a Lid on hand.

Equipment: (3)
1x IR Goggles
1x Ivory Bow
1x Rowan Ring
//May need more bleed modifiers to actions other than rush.

Political Action: (11)
4x Parity Shift
3x Archon
3x Kine Resources Contested
1x Praxis Seizure: Dublin

Reaction: (7)
7x Second Tradition: Domain
//Another iffy section. +2 intercept with untap is Definitely Good(TM) but it might be too much (that, or I blocked too many actions for my own good).

Other considerations:
1) Perhaps modifying the deck to just Disguised/Flamethrower/(prevent)/Amaranth will make the deck simpler to use. It's just a shame that all the POT goodness will go byebye.

Reasonable crypt. Suhailah probably should be a second Selma instead.

1x Dreams of the Sphinx
1x Information Highway
1x Leadership Vacuum
1x Storm Sewers
1x Tension in the Ranks

Leadership Vacuum is kind of too corner casey. Vast Wealth seems under useful with only 3 pieces of equipment. You should have Fame.

Action: (7)
4x Fourth Tradition: The Accounting
3x Fifth Tradition: Hospitality

Agreed on the 5ths. Even Taste is probably better here.

Action Modifier: (11)
7x Freak Drive
3x Lost in Crowds
1x Hidden Lurker

Hidden Lurker is simply too fringey. Another 2nd. Or Rush card instead.

Combat: (28)
6x Immortal Grapple
6x Slam
4x Disarm
4x Superior Mettle
3x Armor of Vitality
3x Fake Out
2x Soak

Fake Outs could probably be Swallowed by the Nights and you'd still be ok. Or Drawing out the Beasts. And get some Tastes in there.

//This section feels too expensive. All the 1-blood cost adds up, so many of the vamps were empty by the endgame. It also didn't help that my pred almost always had a Flash and a Lid on hand.

Yeah, don't judge anything by what my deck was doing :-)

24 Flash and 20 Lid/Bike is going to trump most non DotB close range combat. I just happened to be playing the very trumpy combat deck. I get totally hosed by S:CE, however.

Equipment: (3)
1x IR Goggles
1x Ivory Bow
1x Rowan Ring

Unconvinced by Rowan Ring.

Political Action: (11)
4x Parity Shift
3x Archon
3x Kine Resources Contested
1x Praxis Seizure: Dublin

Reasonable. Maybe more KRC and less Archon. And use 2nds to get in fights.

Reaction: (7)
7x Second Tradition: Domain

Nah. These are strong.

I play Warsaw Station, it's perfect for such a deck. You untap after calling the Archon vote and can rush straight away. Ouch.

I really love Anathema and would recommend it strongly. If not in this deck in what deck else?

I play without the 4th and 5th Traditions (added more Parity Shifts for Poolgain). For that you could play Preternatural Strength and Heroic Might (what about 3 and 3?). So the turn could be PS - FD - Archon - FD - Rush and refill with Taste - Second Trad for blocking. Funny. If it works :o).

I don't know your Metagame. In my Playgroup Hitback isn't that much dangerous, so I play less damage prevention and don't need Fortitude sup/skill masters. I concentrate on the for-Nosferatu.

A good call might be Shreck-Net, which grants you an Untap if it's played unblocked by a big one and gives you good information. Another good card to get more ousting power is Legendary Vampire for the bleed.

Infection outferior lets you prevent damage from all strikes on 'for' for 2 blood.

1) Deck name: Potent Princes v2

Crypt: (12)
2x Nikolaus Vermeulen

1x Calebros, The Martyr
1x Murat
1x Rake
1x Selma the Repugnant
1x Suhailah

I agree with swapping Shuhaulah for Selma.

Master: (14)
5x Vessel
2x Fortitude
1x Dreams of the Sphinx
1x Information Highway
1x Leadership Vacuum
1x Storm Sewers
1x Tension in the Ranks
1x The Labyrinth
1x Vast Wealth

Goodbye Leadership Vacuum, Vast Wealth and possibly even Tensions... (you'll see why later).

Action: (7)
4x Fourth Tradition: The Accounting
3x Fifth Tradition: Hospitality
//The 5th trads feel iffy. Might be better as Entrenchings or Restorations.

I actually like 5th Trad, it's a nice way to get blood onto guys like Nikolaus and it doesn't require a discipline so even Volker can give it a go. Entrenching is crapola, more blood if you've got lots... Restoration isn't that effective in here because after a Freak Drive it's just 1 blood.

Action Modifier: (11)
7x Freak Drive
3x Lost in Crowds
1x Hidden Lurker
//The Freaks are a wonder. 7 was enough to make Nikolaus an Archon, let him rush/torpor then call a 4th trad all in the same turn.

I'd swap the Lurker for Stealth.

Combat: (28)
6x Immortal Grapple
6x Slam
4x Disarm
4x Superior Mettle
3x Armor of Vitality
3x Fake Out
2x Soak

Armor of Vitality? I'd be expecting to see stuff like Indomitability or Unflinching Persistence before Armor of Vitality... even Rolling with the Punches.

Drop the Disarms.

Equipment: (3)
1x IR Goggles
1x Ivory Bow
1x Rowan Ring
//May need more bleed modifiers to actions other than rush.

I don't see a reason for Rowan Ring or Ivory Bow really... put in some Sewer Lids if you're worried about ranged combat. If you're also worried about other people's stuff, then toss in a Canine Horde and a Fast Hands... most of your guys have either :ani: or :cel:.

Political Action: (11)
4x Parity Shift
3x Archon
3x Kine Resources Contested
1x Praxis Seizure: Dublin

It's makeover time!
4-6 Anathema
3-4 Archon
4-6 KRC

Reaction: (7)
7x Second Tradition: Domain
//Another iffy section. +2 intercept with untap is Definitely Good(TM) but it might be too much (that, or I blocked too many actions for my own good).

You're not a wall deck... pick your battles and make sure you win them in epic fashion. That will tend to stop the ambitious bleed for 7 or Reckless Agitation for 5...

This deck of mine is the one I used to make my recommendations for your deck. It has very very rarely let me down (and usually only because there is a Lawfirm as Pred or Prey).
