How do you intend to oust?
Bleed, baby!

How do you intend to keep from being ousted?
Bounce, static votes, not paying full price for vampires via Govern, locking down vampires with Sensory Deprivation and Nightmare Curse.

What will your ready region look like?
Dr. Dee +2 other vampires, Aiden being one, preferably.

What do you expect your turn to look like?
If playing defensively, govern down, do some non-bleed action and be ready to bounce.
If playing offensively, bounce then follow it up with bleeds of 3+, cancelling auspex bounce via False Resonance.

What is your metagame like?
Variable combat, some big bleeders and bloaters. Not too many weenies (although scourge of the enochians is always a good tournament play).

What weaknesses do you see?
Hardcore combat will give it problems.
A fast predator can keep me contained.
Heavy intercept will ruin my day, but I do have tricks for that (Mirror Image, False Resonance).


How would you guys adjust this deck, or is it fine as-is?

I am excited about Tremere! Oh but I don't like this deck. No crypt acceleration, no bloat, very little in the way of recouping blood costs. And if you want some more stealth you can just use cards like Bonding and Seduction - I don't see you really getting your pool's worth out of the in the crypt.

I've never had success with 2x Magic, 2x equipment in a big deck like this one. Getting super-cheap CHI lockdown actions via Ankara Citadel is really sexy. Not being able to do so consistently isn't. Go for it seriously or cut it.

I think you're right, Kushiel. If you choose cut the Ankara-Nightmare Curse angle there isn't much reason to keep the deck around. Might as well go build an deck.

The way I see it, a fatty deck like this has to either focus on surviving or be totally gun-ho. I have focused more on surviving so that things can be timed properly. I could see trying to make the Ankara Citadel show up more reliably because it has a big effect on how the deck works. Maybe -2 Rutors +1 Vast Wealth, +1 Magic of the Smith? With 4 search cards and two equipment, I'm probably getting closer. What would you cut?

The vampires who you intend to play Govern the Unaligned at superior do not have superior Chimerstry. So you need to bring out Dr. John Dee, draw a discipline master or wait for Aidan Lyle to really get going? Hm.

I would cut the cards that rely on superior Chimerstry, stuff like Occlusion. And I don't think you need that many Wider Views.
