MalkavianPrank,

I'm fairly certain that I've played against this deck, a year ago in Newark. I'm a bit surprised at the low number of stealth modifiers and the low amount of combat. It would seem to me that Tzimisce/Ahrimanes would eat you up, as they get an extra turn to act/tool up while you are bringing out your gargantuan minions.

You can get amazing pool gain with your master card selection, though I think the deck would be better with 5-6 Villein. (As would most decks with an average capacity greater than 1/3 your starting pool.)

I'm curious to know why you decided to avoid On the Qui Vive in place of some of the Wake with Evening's Freshness and Forced Awakening cards. Your vampires are too large to delay acting, so they will always be tapped after the turn they come into play and losing an extra blood for a FA/bleed bounce or losing a card/hand-size for WwEF/bounce are both situations that would be improved by On The Qui Vive.

What problems do you have with the deck that you would intend to address with the addition of 10 cards? To make the deck more likely to win, I'd actually drop 10 cards, mostly Petra Resonance and 3-4 of the Pranks/Games. How well does the deck flow for you when you have 25 actions and you can't take any of them before turn 4? How well does the deck flow for you when you can't play any of your master cards until turn 4?

It would seem that you are very vulnerable to Haven Uncovered and Pentex Subversion. Have you considered Wash?

Yes, you have played against this.

On the Qui Vive is a good call, I have noticed the occasional hang-up on WwEF. Most of the time, the deck flows well enough. Sure, if I have an aggressive wall next to me or a really fast weenie deck I'm often a bit screwed.

That being said, I'm looking for something to add to give it a bit more... edge. Yes, I can generate some pretty crazy amounts of pool with it. I have been know to get all 5 minions out and be sitting on 40+ pool. With the use of the Pranks, I'm able to do some bribing here and there with my cross-table and even occasionally my predator. Because of all the pool gain potentially going around the table, I've thought about rounding the deck out with a few Anarchist Uprising/Ancilla Empowerments since there is likely to be a lot of minions being brought out.

As far as Wash goes, also a good idea.

How does this deck plan on ousting its preys?

Take out the Petra Resonances.
Put in 4x Muddled Vampire Hunters,6x Glancing Blow, 6x Target Vitals and a handful of OtQV (because blocking with a Muddles is funny...)

Other option would be to include:
Madness Network + Gehenna Engine driving Thirst... then everybody Burns because the Ankou is in town with Enkil Cog.

I played this last night with the addition of some Anarchist Uprising and found that it gave the deck some serious extra punch.
