Rego Motus + Serenading Deck

After the discussion of Rego Motus I had a chance to play my awful deck I built to use Valerius Maior's additional strike ability. The deck was made before Uta Kovaks and Rego Motus were printed. Then, I added them. Its kind of fun but really not any good. Of course, with help it might be worth playing once in awhile (that's where you, the VEKN Community come in!).

1.How do you intend to oust?

Fame, bleed with dominate


2. How do you intend to keep from being ousted?

rush vampires, bounce with dominate

3. What do you want your ready region to look like (ie, how many guys are you planning on getting out)?

Originally it was supposed to be Valerius and 2 or 3 small mid-caps. After Uta was added, it is nice to have just them out and one small cap like janine.

4. What do you want your average turn to look like?

Rush with Uta or Valerius or set up with Ankara Citadel or Rutor's hand.

5. What's your metagame like? How do your opponents play?

It varies. But animalism combat is consistent. A lot of S:CE and a lot of cards that get around combat ends.

6. What problems have you observed with the deck in play?

Not enough pool gain, not enough bounce, Valerius is no longer the best vampire in the deck. Serenading the kami + Blood Fury + Rego Motus at 0 blood cost (for Uta) is just better than having to get the Citadel first (for Valerius).

I think with Rego Motus, the deck should probably be just Uta and low to mid cap support.

I think this deck would be better without Valerius really, then you can also ditch all of the dodges, and thoughts betrayed, add some telepathic trackings instead and some target vitals, and why are there no nose of the hound which is just strictly better than ambush? You can also move some of those card slots trimmed from combat to boost your defense angle with more deflections and some wakes.

Oh, a !Tremere rush g4 deck with no votes? It really could use several Nephandi...(I'd put 2 Antonios for that in the crypt).

Also, I'd like to see at least one Frondator in this deck - not only is she generally useful, she can get out Famed Vamps from torpor for your hitters to send back into.

Also, Depravity is nice in such a deck. As is, to a much lesser degree, Bravo - quite useful card which doesn't see much play.

Bravo is a very bad card when you can play Monster (well, if you have it) on Valerius or sociopath on the sabbat Uta...
