Powerbase Lomumba? only requires a laibon to put into play. You can give the rush to any of your vampires, assuming it is not stolen.

Even better for inclusion here, then. Even if the third vampire can't use it, Jeremy can use it to rush targets who are greater capacity than he is.

If the OP insists on keeping all those celerity cards that aren't Resist Earth's Grasp, and decides to add Heart of the City, Dominique Santo Paulo could be a great inclusion.

Unless there's some very good reason to use them, Vessels are always inferior to Blood Dolls. I don't see that reason in this deck.

Sad but true reason is the fact that other people are playing Vessels instead of Blood Dolls, either due to their trifleness or because BDs are destroyed by Vessels. I've given up playing BDs in my decks just because every one else has also and when I play my BDs, I need them to stay for the rest of the game there, not just until my pred or prey plays another Vessel and destroys my Blood doll.

IMHO:

- Drop the aura reading
- Add HG
- Add PB:Luanda
- Go for 3 Dreams of the Sphynx
- Make the 5 support guys all Khalu and Homa

The rest looks neat. If well played (and with a proper metagame), can become a wining deck.

Cheers!

That's an okay reason to not use Blood Doll. It's not enough of a reason to use Vessel instead.

Vessel is the worst of the class of master cards which recoup blood to pool. Unless you're using it for some other reason and that blood/pool recoup is a side benefit, Vessel isn't worth playing.

Wow, it seems most of my deckposts cause a lot of people posting, so i guess i must be doing something right.

@ Kushiel - i agree on blood dolls. However, since Kiddo and me play in similar environments (no surprise, being from Balkans and all), i can tell you that people here play either Vessels or Villeins. Blood dolls simply do not have a lifespan of a turn or two around here. I still play blood dolls in some decks, playing to blood doll's strengths (immediate use in the master phase, don't care if blown up later).
But, in this particular case, and i do that in almost all combat decks i play, i like to have a PERMANENT link from my vampire to my pool. Not only for converting my vampires blood to pool, but sometimes the other way around. Like, sometimes things go bad, you don't draw that taste, and you need one or two blood extra to handle that carrion crows you know you will be facing in next combat, and such things. This deck does not prevent, so that kind of crutch i expect to be necessary. Plus, i have also put in Rack in the deck, and it works good with vessels. I actually think i may need to take on Kiddo's advice and add one more Vessel, but it will come when i am actually able to play this.

@ Miketheknife : i actually think, but it is only theory, that aura readings are really good at both inferior and superior level. Knowledge of preys/predators hand can be crucial, and drawing extra cards to come to that combat that you need, or to flush extra heroic mights might be invaluable. That said, i am considering putting in another dreams in place of one cel master. But dreams contest a lot around here (and worldwide it seems, following recent poll on extrala)

PB Luanda is another interesting suggestion that i have missed when constructing. Is it really needed? I am not sure... It is another master slot, and my 2 star vampires already have the ability to enter combat. It seems to me that it is one of those cards that if i am using, i am already winning. Like, having Massassi out, and Jeremy, and 3rd vamp, and Luanda in play... yeah, then the world is good. But i might experiment with it, and it may turn out to be very important in fact, for those times (and it will happen, i am sure, with my luck) when one of the big guys is not in my starting crypt, and most often than not, in this deck, i cannot afford to look for it.
