I apology for not having played this deck yet. In theory, it is quite tempting to use the "dark forces" of both Maleficia and Striga.
1. How do you intend to oust?
Steadily bleeding (Cybele and Nergal).
2. How do you intend to keep from being ousted?
Slowing down the table with events and Maleficia, gaining pool via Ashur plus Liquidation.
3. What do you want your ready region to look like (ie, how many guys are you planning on getting out)?
Cybele and Nergal both with superior Maleficia and Striga, maybe a third minion.
4. What do you want your average turn to look like?
Using 2 or 3 master phase actions, bleed with Cybele and with Nergal, and untap due to Rutor's Hand.
5. What's your metagame like? How do your opponents play?
Almost every type of deck occurs ...
6. What problems have you observed with the deck in play?
I foresee problems with heavy bleed and damage vote decks ... I am not sure, though.

I´m not a devoted infernalist player; but IMHO Striga sucks a little bit.
Additionally there´s no real sinergy between both of infernal disciplines.
Therefore ,knowing that you won´t like to hear it, it´s better to choose between Striga and Maleficia and make the deck work around them.

An aggressive predator should be a problem, as you already mentioned. The Ashur Tablets/Liquidation-combo is a good pool generating mechanism. But if it is the only one you will AFAIS be toast. The next problem is, that your minions will need time to arrive and set up for defense. Even with Info Highway/Dreams (and to have one of it is not that sure with 4 on 76) you first need the Maleficia/Strygamasters on the minion to play that needed Evil Eye or Stryx on superior. And in addtion you want to get Rutor's Hand to save on pool. Your offence will be awesome if you have the right cards. But I fear you can't cherish this because you are in trouble before.
As Mafrune said before, why not focus on Maleficia (Evil Eye, Psalm of the Dammned) and add some Villeins for the Strygamasters? Yes, you would have to add some Obfuscate or Daimoinon to deliver the bleeds. And admitted with that in mind you can't do the trick with the events, which is a cool one
. But I think the deck works afterwards and has a decent chance to win games.
Contagion is a must have. What about Secure Haven?
