How do you use The Trick of The Danya without creating a situation that benefits your grand prey more than you?

If you set up a lunge with Reality, how is Trick better than just bleeding your prey out?

Trick of the Danya is basically 1/3 of sup' Govern, but harder to pull off, so it can have a different utility than bleed, I.E. building an army of smallish vampire.

Of course, the effect of Trick of the Danya is still way too small to be worth the slot and setup. That's why its a deck challenge, cause "Deck Challenge : Govern the Unaligned" would stop at "you can use 90 govern as library and still have a reasonable shot at a VP or even a GW".

By using Reality etc.. forwards and backwards. San Lorenzo de El Escorial and Gran Madre di Dio, Italy may help.

If you set up a lunge with Reality, how is Trick better than just bleeding your prey out?

What about an upgrade, when TotD makes it to PoD? Since it lacks a superior version, giving it one wouldn't involve changing any text, just inserting "missing" text.

I believe this crypt will do the Trick, though a 2nd Khalil may be in order.

The big problem in that crypt is Ezmerelda. 11-caps take time and even if you are in effect harvesting pool from your prey to pay for your minions, it is best in numbers... so you want to be able to get at it early. Unless of course you run it in reverse and hammer your prey with the Weenies waiting until you've basically got a "cheap-price" Ezmerelda you can bring out in a turn or two... then she goes off and plays Reality...
