Well I guess that depends on the metagame. Here in brazil this deck would be completely destroyed, but we have a strong combat metagame in general, so I almost aways put defensive combat cards on bleed / vote decks.

Maybe if he doesn't want to put combat cards, some mental maze would be nice to defend himself against undesired rushes / bleeds.

Yoruba Shrine is better anti rush card than any combat card would be. Also I have plenty reactions there to deal with bleeds. Generally my experience is that if someone is going to rush me, they have strong enough combat that couple s:ce wouldn't help much anyway. I might consider though putting in one or two taste of death and couple more swallowed by the night just to keep people guessing about how much combat I have.
