Council of No Confidence

I don't really play this anymore, but I thought I'd share it. discussing gangrel baron votes in another thread made me nostalgic.

I'd actually first created this before Assamite Death Cannon became infamous. experimenting with Revolutionary Council made me realize how incredibly powerful it could be, while everybody else underestimated it. then the Assamites started winning and the secret was out, no more underestimating. but I would still play this when fatty-vote decks became popular in the meta, because my vote-lock tech was to play No Confidence and Patsy on all of them. Everybody expected a race of governs + villeins to influence out titles, Praxis Seizures turned into huge negotiations.... nobody expected their titles to be simply taken away in VTES! It was like an attack from another dimension!

So I made dozens of minor variations to this deck over the years, and never recorded any of them. This is slapped together from memory of the ratios and is just a guideline, change it however you want. I'm pretty sure there were more masters, maybe Twilight Camp or something. the crypt's not set in stone either, use whoever you want.


how to play: Stay alive until you can build up the death star cannon with lots of anarchs. Other vote decks are your main enemy. Exclusion Principle might give others pool, but it'll always give you more (and enemy vote decks are unlikely to be Independent). You don't need that many KRCs, just enough to put a little pressure here and there. Eventually you'll oust everyone with the 2 card combo, Garibaldi + Rev Council, so be patient.

One of the few decks that really got me psyched recently! I have been thinking what I'd do with anarchs for a long time, and I've been trying to figure out an interesting deck to play with Gangrel as well.

I'll be trying to conjure up a version of my own. Too bad I lack CrimethIncs. I have only one, which is kinda sad... Most of the other cards I can manage however.

Will be playing a different kind of a crypt though, since the lack of Anarch Converts. I really like some solid PRO midcaps, and tha guys like Frere Marc here, since they can play CrimethInc in play rather than as just an untap. Could be interesting.

it will probably be fine without anarch converts, but I think crimethinc is necessary. the multiacting ability combos so nicely with fee stakes. maybe freak drives could work instead, since most of these vampires have fortitude.


other tips for playing anarch vote..... sometimes other players will try to vote away your fee stakes, so you'll have to wait until you can play several of them in one turn. boom, surprise votelock. the Museum helps a lot to set this up.

don't forget you can play No Confidence after a failed Anarch Salon vote, because the action itself was successful. I've actually had some players offer deals with me: "Look, I'll vote in favor of this, as long as you don't play no confidence on me!" This card is so underrated.

Jacob Femor is cap 5, also has thaumaturgy, has superior protean and nobody expect him in a no garou deck. Just some food for thought

Yep, I was planning on using him as well. A very nice vampire.

I'll need to try this with Freak drives instead of CrimethIncs until I get some more of those, but it should work okayish as well.
