Deciding on a new deck: star vampire multi-act deck was created by Yochanan
Hi all,
I've been trying to decide on a star vampire deck to build using a multi-acting big cap vampire but am not sure which direction to go. I'm looking for some help before investing in cards, but will also try out a couple proxy decks once I've narrowed it down. Ideally I want a vampire who can bleed for at least 3, is good in combat, has access to 2 to 3 intercept (including permanent intercept, bowl of convergence, etc), and can rush. In other words, a star vampire who can do it all except votes. At the moment my research has led me to using either The Unnamed, Shalmath (with decapitate, outside the hourglass, domain of evernight) or Enkidu (earth meld and psyche)...but also have Sha-Ennu, Eze, Hektor, and Karsh in mind. To date I've only played with mid-cap walls, stealth or tap and bleed, and big cap vote decks, so this is sort of a new territory for me.
Alas, a few questions:
Are there any other vampires that could fit the bill?
What do you think are some of the strengths and weaknesses of the 7 aforementioned vampires (and others) vis-a-vis oneanother?
Do you have any preference when it comes to this sort of deck?
Thanks!

How about an Arika Alastor deck?

Mimir >>> every one in your list.
Because of pentex and other shenanigans !
he has :
for multi-acting and he can't be stucked by penex
and inherent +1 bleed for big bleeds and no archon investigation nor pentex on him
for heavy (and safe) combat and nobody can put pentex on him
for raven spy, sense the savage way and cat's guidance and also abbot, eternal vigilance and/or under siege for intercept and your predaor can't bypass him with a pentex
he can rush with or without
and other player can't play pentex on him
He is the perfect vampire for what you describe. (I almost forgot : no pentex !)
The real question is : will a deck doing all those things win tables ?

Good idea with Mimir. Not very likely to contest either. Stanislava is another popular choice, but that can be a problem.

Thank you Timo! I hadn't even considered Mimir. He would definately be a great choice with the access to dom and not being able to be pentexed or archoned, along with the other disciplines for combat, intercept, multi-acting and prevent. I'll proxy up a deck soon here and give him a go...not sure which direction I would go for combat though with all those disciplines. I'm thinking maybe ANI and FORTITUDE prevent or PRO and FORTITUDE prevent.
