Jaroslav & Hektor

I've been trying to put together a Hektor deck and this is what I've decided on. The deck has not been tested yet. Could probably use an Enkil Cog. I'd like to bring the library down to 75 cards as well but am not sure how to cut it down.

How do you intend to oust?

Jaroslav and Hektor bruise n' bleed for 3 with either Public Trust, Heart of the City, or Iron Glare. Either can rush prey's vampires when they have dogs of war (Hektor) or alastor (Jaroslav), Fame and Tension helps.

How do you intend to keep from being ousted?

Jaroslav blocking at 3 intercept, back rush and diablerize (if not enough votes, then Hektor with Dogs of War), bloat (villein/taste of vitae).

What do you want your ready region to look like?

1 Hektor, 1 Jaroslav, 1 of the mid-caps, 1 anything.

How many guys are you planning on getting out)?

Jaroslav and Hektor, maybe a mid-cap if I'm way up on pool and/or can use the votes.

What do you want your average turn to look like?

Hektor does two actions: bleed and either vote or rush dependening on hand. Jaroslav does one action and untaps with Metro or Second Traditions to block.

What's your metagame like? How do your opponents play?

Rush (agg and potence), Weenies, Stealth/Bleed.

What problems have you observed with the deck in play? N/A. Haven\'t played.

Hektor is so much better with for skill card

Also, I'd strongly recommend 7-cap support. Shawnda is useless here, Desalle has all in-clans at sup, conditional, yet good stealth ability. And you could add Legendary Vampire to the deck, which she could become late in the game. And you would get a shot at legendary Hektor/Pascek. Seriously, this is THE type of deck for Legendary Vampire I'd recommend dropping Heart for it.

Weapons are at odds with IGs here, why not pure Psyches or Slams instead of weapons?

I'd recommend 1 more Villein, 2xDreams (Villein on the first vamp is crittical, you need better odds) and 2xpretenatural strength/heroic mights.

Taste of vitae are at odds with agg damage, why not 1-3 Amaranth (you can burn DoW to cancel blood hunts)?

Thanks for the feedback. The Taste's will definately have to go - I forgot they don't work for agg damage, perhaps a few voter caps (3) to bloat?

I do want to get the deck down to 75 cards and am already not sure how to add more - at 75 cards maybe 6-7 Villeins/Dreams would suffice (so I could add a dreams to start).

I like the idea of dropping the heart for Legendary Vamp.

I wanted to include Amaranth's but couldn't find the room in the original list.

Pascek gets the weapon. I tossed in two so that I don't draw my only one and can alastor it in instead. The plan was for Hektor to use the IG and TSP, whereas Jaroslav utilizes Psyche and Pursuit, but can use IG and TSP (which would be at odds with weaps if necessary). It does feel like two combat packages that have little overlap between the two. I think I need to decide whether to keep IG/TSP at all or focus on Psyche! and Pursuit for Hektor and Pascek. Maybe include something else (preternatural strength?) to buff up Hektor hits. What do you think?

Show of force as bleed action?

And Im not sure id drop grapple completely. Or taste.

Show of Force isn't a bad idea for the additional strength and still hits for two. I guess its 1 strength vs 1 from the blood bank down on Hektor and then the 6 or 7 cap. I chose Trusts since the deck doesn't have any crypt acceleration...hoping it would go part of the way helping get the second (and maybe 3rd) vampire out (albeit very marginal help )
