file malkavian - Mentally unstable and equipped with grenades

Main concept of the deck is to use escaped mental patients with flash grenades to control a table. You can slow down someone (f.e your predator) thx to flash grenade "doesn't untap" effect. Offensively they are mainly use to tap your prey's minions so you can bleed more easily. I'm tryign to make it more competetive. To achieve it I would like to solve two problems:
1. make a deck more streamlined (and smaller) by removing some unneeded cards. Which ones should go out in your opininion?
2. find a good offensive answer for other allies decks. While I can defend against them with grenades, it can be hard to oust another ally deck, especially with unmasking in play. There are only 4 superior DEM in the crypt so Restructure is not that hot in my opinion and it's useless with no allies around. Any ideas?
Here is a deck:

IMHO, you should always remember, that the goal is to oust your prey. There are some synergies in Quill, Pulse (installed +2 bleed for 1/2 of your vamps) and Codex. But there are 40 (!!!) cards to support those mechanisms. Are your ousting mechanisms better than 10 KS+5 Eyes of Chaos+5 Confussion? This bleed module would leave 20 more cards to use as you choose, you could even have escaped patients for defense with rotschrecks. It is not that the Escaped Patient concept is bad, I just think that you are giving too much of spotlight for it, thus reducing both your deck's flow and actual danger.

!malk! :OBF: :DEM: :cel: :cap6: Sabbat. If this vampire's bleed is successful, he laughs manicly and untaps.

you don't have to convince me that, in random metagame, typical kindred spirits deck would be better. That would be true for any tier 1 deck.
What I want to achieve is to make patients deck competetive - good enought for tournament.
For this to become true, they need a strong support from other cards.
Playing only patients is just weak. Patients + rotschreck is not a bad defensive module but only defensive and it works very poorly against a lot of typical deck concepts (any long range combat (animalism combat, guns, etc.), political decks with combat ends, s&b decks with combat ends) In other cases I found that I'm very often in situaion when I'm running out of patients very fast. The fact that rotschreck is a master and you can play only one per turn doesn't help either. Flash grenade helps for all this problems but it needs a lot of cards. Happily this module works perfectly not only in defense but as well in offense and general table control so the number of slots that it needs is partially justified. There is smaller number of slots for other things, which means that you have to rely more on permanents than on transient cards. That's why I've included pulses and codex which deliver strong effect for minimal number of slots.
In casual games the deck proved to be good but I feel that there are still some tweaks that would make it better without changing the whole concept.

I have seen this kinda deck played with weenie !malk crypt with Walk through Arcadia as main card to get actions through. Computer hacks was there for bleed boost as well I think. With that kind setup, you get minion superiority and you can tap all your preys vamps and then bleed lots of small bleeds on one turn.

Honestly, Id run vamp support, like artemis and use pentinent resillience to ignore the grenades some. The deck concept is neat, but I question the end which this is the means to;

Is tapping the table one action at a time for 2 cards an action really going to help?

Or should you weenie it out with some small !Malks, folks with obf and dom, and a splash of necro to rush vamps, torp them, and graverob, with a plan to turn patients into shamblers?

Still same amount of moving parts, but with weenies, deflections, plans to steal minions or at least torp them instead of just tapping them, and a way to still have some rushers. Even having TV, grenades, concealeds is doable, just not the whole plan.

I love deck ideas like this, but Id use this WITH KS and apache/marge to ignore grenades.

Or, build a patient deck with a better goal.

Still interesting for sure.

I'd think ousting and surviving are pretty good goals? :)

Things I've found decent in this kind of a deck:
-Anarch Troublemaker
-Misdirection (works against allies, too!)
-Mylan Horseed (protects you from your own stolen EMPs, also another bleed capable minion
-Guarded Rubrics, Codex of the Edenic Groundkeepers, Tasha Morgan, J.S. Simmons, Heidelberg Castle
-Passion & Art's Traumatic Essence (they work against allies, too)
-Zillah's Tears (to move the bleed equipment around and and still bleed, or to play a Passion and still bleed, etc.)
