Assamite hate you.

So here is a bit different kind of assamite deck that is using a whole bunch of the new cards, both crypt and library wise. This is fairly rough draft that I tossed together quickly so there is likely some refining needed, which is what this forum is for! This is pretty much a rush deck with also decent amount of ousting power included. It would be nice to have a defensive module too, but I am not sure how to do that without seriously diluting the deck, so at the moment the plan is just to smack your predator enough to keep him on the defensive, while focusing most of your efforts on your prey.

I would replace all the psyche by Sanguine Entrapment.

I mean, if you play Dam the heart's river, selective silence/pursuit, and blood sweat, and your opponent play Majesty, then Psyche! don't really help you, and you have to hope to have a complete chain again, not to mention the number of card burned, and maybe the blood too.

And if your opponent don't play combat end, you will still be a lot happier to have easy to cycle Sanguine Entrapment, who double as the odd anti-dodge, than psyche!, who need you to not have torporized anyone first round to be cyclable.

This deck is the textbook example of where Sanguine Entrapment belong. Leave psyche! to gun decks, who mostly don't burn needlessly card against S:CE.

The combat module is pretty much designed to get around s:ce fairly effectively. The couple blood sweats and silence of deaths are there mostly just because I like those cards, but I have been considering removing them and the sticks which would give me 12 card slots to use for some defense... The main combat module is dam, focus, thin blood, which isn't really too bothered about s:ce, they burn 3 blood (+ whatever their s:ce costs) while I gain a blood, and can then psyche if I want.

I agree the psyches are too much... but for the intercept module: open dossiers for shizzle... and some regular contracts for your predator... I would lose the weighted walkers and go long range aggro or blood sweat/exuding for fortituders without the thin blood but thats just me!!

I'm looking forward to tryin out these new cards in my thaum/quietus deck... dam the hearts river with weather control and thin blood who can even pay for their combat ends.. would even throw in a wave of lethargy not much chance of beeing able to even afford to strike
