file Daughters Shattering Crescendo/Vote

I've been wanting to make a Shattering Crescendo deck for a while now, as it seems like a fun card. The only designs I've been able to come up with looked so boring on paper, though, that I never bothered to make the deck. Not particularly interested in a deck that does Crescendo and nothing else (like the other Crescendo decks I've seen).

It occurred to me that an advantage Crescendo has over rush combat is that you can replace combat cards with delivery system, which got me thinking about other payloads that the same action-enablers could be used to deliver. Daughters are notoriously crap on defense and have a lot of voting tech, so I thought I'd try to add stealth/vote as the second half of the deck. My worry is that I'm trying to do too much here - there are a lot of complicated card chains and a lot of card-matching that needs to go on before many of the actions can even be attempted (two copies of Crescendo, Becoming/Obfuscate, vote/push, all of which will likely also need stealth). Hopefully that explains the large amount of handsize-increasing cards. Am I trying to fit too many different card-intensive technologies into one deck?

Crypt:
4x Scout Youngwood (MEL OBF PRE, 8)
4x Hillanvale (obf MEL, 5)
2x Janet Langer (MEL pre, 3)
1x Lubomira (OBF, 3)
1x Alu (obf, 2)

Library: (83 cards)
Master (20 cards)
1x Barrens
2x Bastille Opera House
3x Blood Doll
2x Conductor
2x Dreams of the Sphinx
1x Elder Library
1x Monastery of Shadows
5x Obfuscate
1x Paris Opera House
2x Storage Annex

Action (17 cards)
5x Becoming
12x Shattering Crescendo

Action Modifier (24 cards)
4x Bewitching Oration
5x Cloak the Gathering
2x Cryptic Rider
2x Echo of Harmonies
2x Lost in Crowds
3x Missing Voice
2x Phantom Speaker
2x Spying Mission
2x Veil the Legions

Combat (4 cards)
4x Majesty

Political Action (14 cards)
6x Consanguineous Boon
5x Free States Rant
2x Lily Prelude
1x Year of Fortune

Combo (4 cards)
2x Madrigal
2x Swallowed by the Night

How do you intend to oust? Swarm-bleed after ruining my prey's ready region. Strongly considered putting Fame into the deck, but the master section feels so bloated already that I'm not sure it's justified. Not aiming for more than three VPs with this deck.

How do you intend to keep from being ousted? Con Boon bloat.

What do you want your ready region to look like (ie, how many guys are you planning on getting out)? Probably two crypt cards and 3+ Becomings. Could also consider putting in the standard blood-denial allies, though they're expensive en masse (and are likely all in other decks anyway).

What do you want your average turn to look like? Crescendo, breed a Becoming or call a vote. Probably no more than two actions a turn for a while, which could be a big problem.

What's your metagame like? Varied. Attempts to block are popular even if people don't think they'll necessarily succeed; attempts to run stealthy decks out of stealth are far more common (and work more often than you might think) than attempts to stealth-jam.

I'd throw out the Barrens and the Storage Annexes for 2 more Dreams of the Sphinx (for hand size) plus the most needed Fame. I'm not sure about the Monastery because of the cost. Consider Vessels over Blood Dolls. They are inferior, but trifles. Echo of Harmonies? Good card, but if you are short of deck space I don't know.

Of course it is hard to combine a card intensive strategy with something else. Hopefully it works.

I would ditch the obf skill cards and replace becomings with embraces. Also in my experience, Free States Rant is always better as KRC.

I know it was long, but did you read my post? I tried to explain that I play in an environment in which blocking is common. Embraces will just get blocked.

Even in a blood-denial deck which isn't great at passing votes without table help? That's not been my experience.

Well your deck has 2 lost in crowds, 2 swalloweds, and 2 spying missions that the little guys could do with basic obf, cloaks and veils can be played by the other guys for them. So you have 5 obf masters for playing 6 cards? I don't think that the benefit is really worth the cost here. Put something like change of targets instead of those obf masters to keep your embraces safe. :) You could also replace the monastery with creepshow casino that all your vampires can use instead of only Scout who needs it least with her OBF

Cloak played by Scout: +1 stealth
Cloak played by Scout (sup) and Becoming (inf): +2 stealth

Casino doesn't give me +1 handsize.

I'll see how it plays and keep your suggestions in mind while playing it. Thanks.
