file Archetype Deck1: Anarch Combat+

I am on the fence with Anarch Revolt. The concept is great but I have seen AR often kills off your grand prey or empowers your grand predator. I always have to be mindful about rush backwards too hard. Anarch Revolt is a bit of a risky card, especially if your prey happens to be an Anarch deck.

While anarch revolt is a strong wincon, especially in a rush combat deck, it can also gather lot of table hate from decks that cannot go anarch. Maybe include couple just to show that the card exists, but not a ton.

There was a meta recently that had a deck run parthenon and spam tons of anarch revolts (like 15+ in a deck) along with animalism rush combat to remove preys anarchs. I think this is best left out of our generic beginner-friendly decks.

I used Target Vitals because I have been going back and forth on the idea of guns. In the current incarnation then Dust Up is probably better. More Tastes would be better. Yeah, Protection Racket is golden.

To keep things simple I might go for just hackerspace, guns and diversions module. Plus the bleed/rush actions. Diversion is super good.

1) Hackerspace + Guns + Diversions is much safer, so I think that is completely valid.
2) I don't feel like I have enough bleed.
3) I have so much unlock in the current version. Probably too much.

I don't disagree with you, but I want to ask jblacey: should these be thought of as beginner-friendly? Or easy-to-pilot intermediate-level decks?

:gang: :CEL: :FOR: :PRO: :cap6: Gangrel. Noddist. Camarilla. Once each turn, LivesByProxy may burn 1 blood to lose Protean :PRO: until the end of the turn and gain your choice of superior Auspex :AUS:, Obfuscate :OBF:, or Potence :POT: for the current action.

This is basically the question. Do you want to make a demo-level experience, balance 5 decks together in a vacuum, or cater them to a tournament environment?

This important decision in deck building is still a bit blurry to me.

My original hope was to be able to do both. That said, if we have super basic decks for demos then maybe these should be stepping stone decks into tournaments. I am not worried about them being balanced against each other... because realistically they are very unlikely to ever be at the same table. What I am worried about is players being in a tournament and feeling hopelessly out-matched.
