The Board of Directors was created by Klaital
Here is my latest version of good old ventrue law-firm. I chose group 3-4 mainly because of the awesome Katarina Kornfeld whos +1 stealth is a major help. The two extra princes that would have got from group 5 both have only basic presence anyway which makes them rather lame for this kind of deck, and I have plenty enough princes here already I would think. Reason why there is 2 Johannes and only 1 Victorine who is better is simply to make better govern chain. Comments welcome as always.

Man, your friends must really like potence decks! If you deal with much combat, I'd throw in Elysium: Arboretum. Also, don't forget about Force of Personality. It's "stealth" for the Ventrue
It is a minor point, but I prefer to go 1x anarchist uprising + 1x ancilla empowerment rather than 2x of either just in case one gets delayed and the other pops up that turn.

Well, in my environment, this would be considered a light protection from combat, just enough to keep those vital vamps from going into torpor all the time.
After much cutting, my DoC deck has been barely surviving with 16 combat cards (8 S:CE and 8 prevents).
So yeah, depending on the meta, I'd even advise more combat prevention...

I'd drop the Islands or have you made good use of it? In a Ventrue rush- or blockdeck it is strong I bet, but in this kind of deck?

Lucinde does have built-in rush which can wreck people in the end game with Island of Yiaros making her punch for 4. Its also a decent threat to make people not attempt to block everything I do because I can punch them for at least 3 with everyone except Katarina who has +1 stealth anyway.

Yup, Island is a nice addition to any Ventrue deck with votes, but IMHO you don't really need two of them, one is just enough.
