Had a local player just email me about this and tell me that when he had contacted the hotel (fairly recently?) he apparently had received reply that the hotel was already fully booked. I never heard back from them.

If the hotel is fully booked, I think it would be worth mentioning in this forum and the EC site too...

Indeed - if the hotel is booked out, I even suggest to try and agree specila rates with a second hotel....

Just a misunderstanding from the hotel side. Janne, please write them again and mention my name "Andreas Nusser" in the subject line as well as in the message text. Tell them how long you are going to stay.

I guess our vocal friend from Tampere is really "happy" about this too since he booked a room from another hotel as he was told by the EC hotel that they were already fully booked.

Then again, like said, he was lucky enough to get a reply from them...
