European Championship 2027 Germany | Gelsenkirchen Schalke (NRW)

We are pleased to announce that the European Championship will take place in Germany in 2027!

In the heart of the Ruhr region, the eternal conflict will be held in Gelsenkirchen (North Rhine-Westphalia) from October 29–31, 2027, to crown the next European champion. This European Championship will be deeply rooted in the cultural heritage of mining history, which made the Ruhr region so strong in the past. This also explains the design of our EC logos: Like the miners before us, we have chosen St. Barbara as our patron saint.
