Atlantic Cup 2022

Free online VTES tournament — May 21st & 22nd 2022

The Atlantic Cup is an online VTES tournament designed to allow players from both sides of the Atlantic to play together and compete for the title of Atlantic Champion!
It is also a way to gather players online in a fun, laid back and inclusive ambiance. All players are welcome, any level is okay. Do not miss your chance to participate, play and meet Methuselahs from all around the world!

Registration
Players can register for free on Discord . Registrations close on May 21st at 12:00 UTC. This is a standard constructed 3R+F tournament.

Rounds
Games will have a 2h30 time limit. Rounds times have been chosen to accommodate as many players as possible on both sides of the Atlantic:

• Round 1 Saturday 21st at 15:00 UTC
• Round 2 Saturday 21st at 18:30 UTC
• Round 3 Sunday 22nd at 15:00 UTC

Finals
Finals will be held on Sunday 22nd at 18:30 UTC, streamed and commented live on the Codex Twitch channel .

Tournament Rules

This is a sanctioned VEKN online tournament: VEKN Tournament Rules apply.

Players are expected to show up on the Discord server 15min before their round starts.

Each table will have an individual timer and vocal channel. Voice channel is not mandatory: a player can decide not to use it, but the others are nonetheless allowed to use it if they wish. Players are expected to chat in English. Spectators are welcome on all tables, although access to the Discord vocal channels will be limited to the relevant players and judges.

Organisers will keep local IP Lackey tables running in case the Lackey main server goes down. Connection details for those fallbacks will be communicated on the Discord server, if necessary.

Unsportsmanlike conducts will not be tolerated: profanities, arguments and belligerent behaviours will be subject to the appropriate provisions of the judge's guide .
