After a 17 hours travel due to a cancelled plane, I arrive in Warsaw late on friday, tired. Hopefully, I know exactly what I'll play for day 1 and (hopefully) day 2, the deck lists are printed and checked. I just have the time to take a drink and the Great Auction is already finished. I go to sleep shortly after.

Day 1

I play a tweaked versioned of my Aim&Chain deck that won day 1 in Palma. The goal is just to qualify for day 2, which shouldn't be too difficult with all that dominate. My latest tweak has been to add 2 Waiting Games to get rid of some Nephandus I can't handle, instead of 2 Far Mastery that have never worked (Unmasking+blocked or DIed).

Round 1
Me (Aim&Chain) > Jeoren (Ventrue Obf) > David (Kyasid gr5-6) > Riccardo (Assamite Bamba bloat) > Marco (Imbued toolbox)
I'll draw and keep a Waiting Game all day long for the Imbued behind me. In the end, I didn't need it.
Riccardo brings out Basir and a Grand Madre that will have little consequences, Jeoren brings out Marcus. I'm a bit concerned by the Imbued that plays Vigilance, Discern + Heart with Jenny, then Unity and Anthelios. I know that once installed, Imbued are nearly impossible to stop. Hopefully, Jeoren is not very interested into helping Marco ousting me, he prefers to play with Riccardo that has some big pool loss but manages to cope with Hakim Laws and Con Boon. David brings out 3 vampires (including a Priscus and a Bishop), is down to 8 pool, but Jeoren and Riccardo have the vote lock together. I've brung 5 vampires out at that time, but bleed steadily only for 1. I keep some defense in hand, but will be bled only twice in the game; Marco doesn't seem very interested into bleeding me, and plays a Wormwood that will end with 7 counters. Jeoren makes a deal with Riccardo: Riccardo supports Jeoren for a shift that will bring David down to 2 pool (meaning he would be ousted right afterwards), and Jeoren will help Riccardo to oust his prey. Riccardo accepts because he has too much pressure from David anyway, but David plays a Delaying Tactics. David has trouble getting his bleeds through Ulubenga, but some bleeds for 6 are successful. Riccardo manages globally to get back the pool during his turn. Meanwhile, Marco isn't aggressive at all and continues to play with only 3 Imbued. A typical turn is Travis putting 2 blood on an uncontrolled imbued, Jenny doing nothing and another imbued doing a inoffensive action, then using influence to get back the 2 pool. Despite the apparence, it isn't a very good thing for me because my hand is full of defensive cards I'm not able to play. I play Pentex on Queen Anne that has 7 blood (against 1 for Marcus) and bleed 5 times for 1 (no bleed card :() The good thing is that the Pentex will stay 3 turns because Jeoren wants absolutely to shift David. He manages to take 4 and give 1 to Riccardo. David bleeds once again for 6 despite the Slow Withering played by Marco. Riccardo is at 6. I play Misdirection on Queen Anne that is still Pentexed because she can deflect, but doesn't draw any bleed and I leave Jeoren at 4 pool. Jeoren tries to kill David with a Kine but hopefully David delays it. Marcus burns the Pentex, plays Freak Drive and some other actions but doesn't manage to kill David. David and Riccardo tries to regain blood and pool, Marco does nothing. I manage at least to draw a Govern, but I have only 4 vampires to make 4 pool damage and Jeoren has Marcus untapped at 1 blood. I deal twice (Jeoren down at 2 pool), plays the Govern that is deflected on David. I deal with him a back deflect; in exchange, I'll let David kill Riccardo. He accepts, deflects back, Jeoren plays DI (1 pool). David plays another Deflection with another vampire, but this time it's Marco that DI. Hopefully, Jeoren is now at 1 pool so I oust him with my last vampire. 1VP
David is down at 3 pool, damages Riccardo, but Riccardo is still alive, kills Marco, then calls 3 KRC in the turn on me. He leaves me down at a few pool, hopefully he can't do more. I play quickly my turns, leaving David free to kill Riccardo, but Riccardo manages to gain as much pool as he lost. One minute before the end of the game, I ask David if I can kill him because Riccardo is back at 16 pool. He accepts reluctantly.
GW 2,5

It is a good start, but unfortunately I'll play badly the next 2 rounds

Round 2
Martin [GER] (John Paleologus/Little Taylor intercept figth) > Me > Stefan [SWE] (Maris/Lutz vote) > Jeff [USA] (Ayela/Monçada vote) > Yannick [FRA] (Mistress Fanchon/Adana bleed)
I have in my opening hand Heart of Nizchetus, Waiting Game and in crypt Jackson Asher (cap 2) so my start is quick. Stefan plays Jake, then the turn after Carlton once I've gotten my Heart (I don't know if he hadn't Carlton in hand or ignored that Jake could have recruited him on first turn). Jake. Carlton. Two allies. No vampires to play action except mine. Waiting Game.
...
I put the Waiting Game on the botton of my deck with the heart, because I've added it for endgames against Nephandus, so in my mind it's too early to play it. I'll regret it the whole game long, because Jake will give back 4 blood to Maris later, and Carlton will block many of my actions.
I get Jephta out, Mistress Fanchon bleeds with Flurry byt Martin plays My Enemy's Enemy., Jeff deflects back on Stefan. Stefan shifts Jeff with Yannick's support, Ayela calls KRC 3-1 (prey-me), Fanchon bleeds again but gets caught by Paleologus that aggs and send her to torpor. Martin plays Fear of Mekhet (apparently thinking it doesn't work on Justicar so Stefan won't be affected-- at that time Lutz isn't out yet) on Adana during his turn, Yannick has two IC, Stefan has Maris (and later Lutz)... The card will burn 25 blood before Adana burns a few turns later. But at that time, I rescue Fanchon from torpor. I regret later because once again Yannick supports a shift from Stefan allowing him to regain pool. Monçada gets out, Yannick passes. In the meantime some of my bleeds get blocked by Carlton, Jackson with the Heart of Cheating will end in torpor. Stefan and Yannick passes the Fear of Mekhet to each other, Stefan plays Madness Network but won't use it until I burn on the next turn. Lutz bleeds for 3, the bleed is deflected on Yannick, blocked by Adana that gets down to 5 with the Fear. Jeff gets 8 pool back on Monçada with Villein. Ayela calls a Banishment (only plausible target: Maris) but is blocked by Carlton. Stefan makes a deal with Yannick so the bearer of the Fear of Mekhet will be banished. Unfortunately for them, the Banishment will come a turn too late and Adana will burn. Little Taylor bleeds, I deflect, I bleed but get blocked, Lutz bleeds too, for 3. Fanchon gets Pentexed by Jeff, Jeff plays some damaging votes that leaves Yannick at 1 pool, then Monçada bleeds for 1. Jeff makes 1 vp.
Martin who was contesting the heart of nizchetus yields, plays pentex on Ayela and continues to use John Paleologus' special + bleed for 2 from the Little Taylor that I deflect. I get down Stefan at 4 pool but he shifts to regain pool, a Reins of Power that would have killed Jeff and me fails because of the edge. In the end, I block a bleed from Jeff that is deflected on me instead of DIing the deflect, and Martin kills me with a Deep Song. I'm ousted with everything to kill my prey on my turn. Martin makes 1 vp.
In the end, Jeff will be ousted. Another Fear of Mekhet has been played that kills Stefan, Martin plays Ercyies and manages to kill Stefan and Jeff.
Martin GW 3

Round 3
Martin (Arcadian Kyasid 5-6) > Izaak (Yuri, Nana, Ashur) > Pawel (Toni, Midget, Uncle George bleed stealth) > Milan (Ladislas Selena) > Me
I play Dream and Wider view, bringing out Vignes. Yuri gets Raven Spy, Arcadian Abbot and Martin discards Earth Swords, meaning i'll have to keep to combat. I play Governs at superior, Martin doesn't influence more vampires and will play the game with 1 or 2 vampires only. Izaar continues to set up, Selena is pentexed but Ladislas burns it. Milan brings out Masika St John, plays Vessel, a PB Montreal that is washed. Milan prefers to redirect Pawel's bleed on Izaak rather than me (fearing that I deflect on Martin) and Pawel lets himself block, ending at 0 blood with Midget. Martin bleed Izaar down to 9 pool with the first bleed for 2 (or maybe the second), Izaak immediately backrushes and Isanwayen ends into torpor.
I down to 6 pool and fear that Milan may oust me. For whatever reason, I yield the contest of the Anarch Troublemaker, which is my second big mistake in the day. Now, I just can't sit and wait, I must either go full tap for the kill or stay untapped with all vampires. At that time, I have only 1 deflect, I go forward, draw more deflect and fail to oust Martin that is down to 2 pool in the end. My only hope is to convince Pawel to cross-oust Martin so Milan doesn't make two VPs in a row. Unfortunately, Pawel doesn't have the KS in hand. I'll draw it on his first bleed. Then, as he tries to cross-oust Martin, he's blocked by a Melange (!) and fails to kill Martin.
Milan does 2 VP in a row, I'm not sure how the game ends.

GW 2,5 - I'm not qualified for day 2.

The game fared well, but had too many combat cards in it this year, and not enough push bleed. And I made 2 big mistakes that cost me each a VP :(
