Actually, I didn't have the two Dreams of the Sphinx in my deck, even though I had them in my decklist. I noticed it after round 2 and told Pascal about it. After some consideration the judges told me that the decklist would be corrected to correspond the actual deck I was playing rather than giving me a game loss and correcting my deck to match the decklist. So I played the whole tournament without dreams, and they probably shouldn't be in the TWDA decklist. However, I believe that the deck would be better with them. Oh, the Sunday morning sloppiness, I guess three days of VtES is two too many for me... :)

I can't tell you how happy this makes me, that people aren't DQed for irrelevant decklist mistakes anymore.

Milán Horváth, the other finalist had also a bad deck list. He had written 3 Archon Investigations on it, but played only 2. However his deck was 1 card smaller than on the list, so he most likely just lost that card during the preliminaries. Pascal made the same ruling there.

I agree with Kevin and I am happy that Pascal laid down this precedence. If a deck ends ups with all Majesty cards replaced for Fortitude prevent cards, because there is a Grapple deck in the final, than yes that would be a reason to DQ somebody. But to DQ a player for loosing a card or just miscounting would be non-sense.
