TWD - Second Sight:Belgrade, Belgrade(Serbia) (17. Dec. 2011)

I will write a short finals report on mondays.

But table timed out with this :
I had a Anson, Anneke, Alexandra, Tatiana Romanova, parthenon, anthelies, dreams, and TGB in play, and 30-ish pool. i had second TGB , and Banishment, and pentex in hand.

He had one vampire in torpor, Aksinya on 2 blood, pentexed Doyle Fincher ( i put pentex on), and mogli on 2 blood, and 6 pool.

If i untapped, i kill him, but alas . Next time...

Lots of time was lost, as there was AUS anarch weenie at the table, and a lot of table talk transpired on how to deal with his jack, and constant revolyutions. like i said, i will write a short report with seating how things rolled tomorrow, and if somebody asks me, i may post my decklist (though it is AAA, nothing shocking there).

The seating in the finals was :

!Gangrel tap'n' bleed > Ventrue Grinder > :Lucian the perfect bruise and bleed > AAA > Weenie auspex anarch

Weenie amarchs started with smiling jack on turn one. It was 2 turns 'till somebody was able to remove it. !Gangrel rode the wave, as they opened with lilit's blessing, and did villein + blessing combo to get lots of pool.

I started also very good with 2x Anson, Anneke and Alexandra in my opening crypt, also, Parthenon and Info highway in my opening hand helped a lot. After pulling out Alexandra, i managed to do villein + Giant's blood + villein combo, to give me tons of pool. In the meantime, i tried to block whatever i can of Weenie equips, and entire table removed his smiling, constant revolution ( 2 times), and several anarch revolts. Ventrue was having toughest time, as he was unable to govern down thanx to constant blocking by Aksinya with raven spy + earth meld, and he suffered a lot with smiling jacks, and revolts, as he (as well as i), was unable to go anarch.

Lucian beat up my anson to torpor twice, but luckily i stabilised with recurring jake washington to block most of his rushes (i got Anthelies in the meantime). I pulled off first kill, finishing off aus weenies by Anarchistic uprising under TGB.

Sadly, that also damaged vetrues severely, and !Gangrel taped him out with anarch troublemaker and bled them to death. Lucian was not in so-good shape either.

He rushed backwards, and dunked one gangrel, but got aggro-poked.
I pentexed Doyle fincher, as his biggest bleeder, but my banishment on aksinya got delayed, and with freakdrive, a new bleed retainer, deep song and some stealth, !Gangrel manage to oust Lucian.

After that, i had only one turn of heavy bleed and vote, getting his newly formed pool to 6, and we entered in last minute in his untap...

Good timing, and nice play for Goran's win. . If it lasted 3-5 more minutes, he would have died, but alas .

Also, if anybody wonders what i played, this is it. Nothing revolutionary, good old reliable AAA.

In retrospect, it is more fun that !Gangrel deck got into the TWDA instead onf another one of these
