Hi!

We finished our first tournament of 2012 last Saturday, and I was pleased to find we had a total of 16 participants! This was roughly a double of the number we had just before and after christmas, when we didn't have enough people to call it a tournament. Thankfully we had some players up from Jyväskylä (a big thanks to all you guys!), and many of our locals actually showed up.

And the games were pretty awesome. All of the tables were pertty even, and the Final took roughly 1h 45min. I'll try to write a complete attendance list along with decks later, but here is the TWD and some bits on how the final went:

The game started out easy, but soon Tommi made a mistake and tapped out with few wakes in hand. Even though he boasted roughly 16 wakes in the deck, none were there to help him at the time, and Toni brutally bled him for ~10.

After that everything settled down, and the players started wearing each other out. Mikko couldn't draw his Throcomancies in time to foil Toni's Ashur Tablets, and he tap/bled his brother out of the game before getting hit by Ankou's Hauntings and was soon after ousted without any deck left, and Anson in a hunt loop.

After that it was just a matter time before Mikko wore Jani down in combat and with intercept, and as a last chance effort Jani played Lunatic Eruption - too bad his combat module wasn't nearly as effective as Mikko's Fortitude and load of blood!

My first Harbinger deck. Everything worked like a dream.
Card cycle was awesome with all the vampire specials, Maabara, Fragment, Gear Ups and Dreams. Anarch Converts are there mainly because I don't own any more Harbingers than that.

In the future I would drop the Murder of Crows, reduce Trochomancy by 2, add a Kiss of Ra and maybe 1 Gear Up or 2 Carrion Crows. The deck itself is too big. I'd try to reduce the decksize to 80.
