Totally bogus seems like a every strong sentiment, Kevin. I don't really know how to reply to it. I spoke with Scythe, and it seems he and James chose to go to "time" so that the next tournament could be started.

Scythe got 3.5vp and James got 0.5vp.

No, it wasn't a very strong statement, since the OP, before it was edited, said 4.5, not 3.5, which is totally bogus.

I'm glad to see that it was edited to say 3.5 instead.

I know I'm lagging here but I haven't paid attention to VTES nor been to any sites in months. Not to say I haven't played a game now and then but a new music project has been eclipsing everything else lately. So I will post this tournaments' winning deck and see about getting the other 2 (besides Wedge's) posted soon, which were won by Michael Summers and Aaron Clark, we have Aaron's decklist but not Summers' nor the statistical information that is in Fred Scott's comp. He may have sent it all ready so I'll check with Courtois to see.

Deck Name: Animal Trackers
Created By: Robert Scythe
Description: This was a rather old deck that had been updated with newer cards for kicks. I hardly played it, however, because of the popularity of animalism. When the tournament was about to begin all of my decks were kind of in pieces, so I grabbed this one - miscounted how many cards were in it (should have left it as it was) - and proceeded to add in 4 Ashur's and an HoN. Well, 3 of the Tablets and an Anton (there were 4 originally) fell under a table. I noticed the crypt shortage and tossed in another Taylor from a different deck but did not notice the fallen Lbrary cards, thankfully, since that would have made it 92 cards and illegal. I did have to contend with one useless Ashur's and a card ratio I would want to tweak but the deck drew well all tournament. It is focused on dealing with S:CE and did a commendable job. Anton and The Taylor came out every round and at least one other, would change it to 4 and 4 and add another Wider View or 2.

Deck building with a gravity assist. I will have to try that sometime.
Nice job.

I hope no one attempts to use this deck as any kind of proof regarding Ashur Tablets. :)
