(Shame I couldn't attend. I'll be returning to the Helsinki tournament scene when "taking the whole sunday off to play cards" does not cause a thoroughly exhausted and sleep deprived wife.)

Looking at the decks at the final table it is pretty impressive that Marko managed to come out the winner: He played against two intercepty fighty decks and two stealth voters (packing Ancilla Empowerments). These decks can be the death of his deck.
Combination of a good start (Jake Washington, Travis, Rock Cat, Ossian, Young Bloods and Gregory Winter out at the end of the turn two!!), sub-optimal draws of his predator and prey, favourable table dynamics and, to state the obvious, playing well won Marko the day.

A player that drops shouldnt be DQ but WD (withdraw self). This is important.

Petri Wessman dropped out of the finals so that is why he got DQ'd...
