Counters come from the "Put all pool lost by Methuselahs on this card." clause.

?
Name: The Slump
Cardtype: Event
No blood or pool can be gained from the blood bank except during hunt actions or combat. Put all pool lost by Methuselahs on this card. Burn this card when it has 15 or more counters.
How/when are counters placed in the event? I do

Or maybe it should just burn when a player is ousted, to avoid confusion on counter-tracking. Probably better.

I don't think it's needed, since the option to gain blood / pool remains on the table. And once a player is ousted, there should be enough counters on the card to be meaningless.
It's another option, but would you keep the "event burns when..." clause?I'd change it to "When blood or pool counters are burned, put them on this card instead. When blood or pool counters would be gained from the blood bank, take them from this card instead."
Or maybe it should just burn when a player is ousted, to avoid confusion on counter-tracking. Probably better.

I prefer cards that bring something new to the game (new concepts, archetypes, some twist on existing decks). This card does exacly the opposite. It makes metagame less differsified which is not good IMO.alek wrote:

Nothing back? Could you detail?

I'm not sure it make the meta less diversified. It help some deck existing, while being far from preventing the one that bloat to live.

The card text as given doesn't include the Gehenna keyword.

It's harder to get unaffected by The Rising though.

I think he meant that The Slump is easier to play because it doesn't have any requirements, whereas The Rising requires two other Gehenna cards.
