file [Submission] Do the Dirty Job / Hand of the Prince (more primogen fun)

I recommand first the excellent Knowing the Masses :p

Do the Dirty Job
Action modifier/Reaction
Requires a primogen. Only usable when a Prince you control would enter combat.
Untap that Prince, tap this primogen, and this primogen and the opposing minion enter combat.

(I know it will untap your Prince even if he hasn't blocked).

Hand of the Prince
Action modifier
Requires an untapped primogen. Only usable when a Prince is acting.
Give the acting Prince +1 stealth. You can tap this primogen during this action to give the acting Prince an additional +1 stealth.

Finally some decent Primogen-tech! Have to think about them though, brb.

My generic concern for this style of card is that it's not about making Primogen desirable, so much as making Princes better. Which is possibly better than where we are (Primogen rarely played at all), but seems like a slightly unattractive niche for them.

As it stands, the action modifier version can also be used by a tapped Primogen, making it usable multiple times a turn, potentially. Seems somewhat overkill that the Primogen can act, then the Prince can act, you can choose to protect the Prince and send the Primogen in to bat, and the Prince can act again.(*)

As a Prince deck, it might be interesting to see it combo with Alastor - make your Primogen an Alastor, give him a big gun and go from there?

(*) It's obviously similar to the slave mechanic, but largely that's more severely restricted in that putting together decks that use masters and slaves well together is trickier because of the unusual disciplines of Tremere vs Gargoyles etc. Also the need for a master vampire to be able to bleed.

Not sure that it's not better to just play a normal stealth discipline and card - that way, the Prince can get stealth or the Primogen can get stealth, which is more flexible.

Nosferatu and Malkavians obviously have lots of potential for stealth from Obfuscate. Obfuscate Ventrue obviously do well here too, and Dominate has some stealth for bleeding and more general pseudo-stealth too (Seduction etc.). Gangrel have a bunch of Protean stealth. Tremere have some Dominate-y options like the Ventrue, and also Mirror Walk.

Celerity from the Toreador and Brujah probably have fewest, really solid stealth options - do they really need them? The Toreador have TGB, which is potentially decent. They both have the very, very good Majesty. Zephyr is potentially quite good.
