Name: horns and tails.

Cost 0
Only one horns and tails may be played by this vampire each combat. Only usable before range is determined.
this gargoyle employs a gargoyle or animal retainer from your hand (requirements apply as normal) this gargoyle pays 1 less blood or pool for this retainer.
The opposing minion takes 1R damage during strike resolution this round.
Art notes: jagged statuary and a bird of prey perched on the shoulder of a human shaped one with glowing red eyes.
Need: support to gargoyles with retainers. I decided animal retainers hang out on statues too (employ Pigeon!). I almost didnt include cost reduction. Superior needed to not suck, be combat, cycle well, and not be too much with razor bats and crawling chamber, so 1r is all I wanted.
Retainers coming out with PA makes them way better. Even without cost reduction, this would help gargoyles a lot, mostly non slaves, and help tupdogs hardly any. May even add cap requirements if needed.

The animal element, while potentially fun in terms of fluff, is essentially worthless - all the animal retainers require either a clan (Gangrel/Akunanse), a sect (Laibon), or Animalism - and only Ferox has Animalism.
In terms of the Gargoyle retainers, I'm unsure how well this would work out - they're not retainers you want loads of, generally, because they're quite expensive and Gargoyles aren't overrun with splendid pool gain options like some other clans are (e.g. when doing Concealed Magnums). You can obviously load up with a few of these, but still only have a few retainers in the deck, because you can cycle the card relatively easily at superior - but it's reasonably weak at superior. I'm not sure, in general, that Stone Dog isn't just barking up the wrong tree, so to speak - just include more rushy combaty cards? Razor Bat for a pool seems kinda nice, though it makes the card a bit niche.
I'd potentially look at keeping the theme but pumping the superior:
Or perhaps:
Using the retainer seems theme-y, and provides something of a target on that vampire's head. With VIS/for, it requires at least a 4 cap vampire, 5 if you don't have access to group 5 vampires.
If you see a lot of heavy maneuvering in a the local scene, I could see Tupdogs maybe including a few for the superior. Not mountains, though.
Adding a Fortitude requirement is a somewhat more elegant way of excluding Tupdogs with very little collateral damage (Erinyi).

Pebble Dash
Action Modifier
[vis][for] Play when announcing an action to employ or recruit a gargoyle. This action is at +1 stealth (even if stealth is not yet needed), the cost is reduced by a blood or pool, and this acting minion untaps if the action is successful.
[VIS][for] Requires a vampire with a gargoyle retainer. Burn a blood to get +2 bleed on this bleed action. You cannot play another action modifier to increase this bleed amount.

Watcher
Some card type
[vis][for] Some ability that helps you get retainers.
[VIS][for] [reaction] Playable only by a vampire with a gargoyle retainer when you are being bled, after blocks are declined. That that retainer to choose another Methuselah other than the controller of the acting minion. The acting minion is now bleeding that Methuselah.
